Monday:
Rin yawned slowly as her alarm clock went off. She was strangely happy to see Namjoon today, nothing could put her in a bad mood. Or at least she thought so.
Yoongi: Good morning princess.
Rin: How do you have my number?
Yoongi: That's for me to know, and for you to find out.
Rin pulled herself out of bed, and changed into her uniform. Something about her seemed different that day, maybe she had drank too much coffee, or maybe she was in a plain good mood.
"I'll see you later Haruka!" Rin called as she left the house, lightly shutting the door behind her.
As she turned her head, her face bumped into something stone-hard. Rin peered her head up, and saw Yoongi looking straight down at her. She had walked into his chest.
"Y-Yoongi! Hi!" Rin smiled, and she skipped away.
"H-Hey, wait!" Yoongi called, as he rushed after Rin, who was now walking.
"What's up Yoongi?" she grinned.
"Why are you so happy? You remind me of-- never mind."
"Because I'm helping Namjoon study today, we studied on Friday, and it was actually fun."
No, she can't grow attached to him again. Yoongi thought. She could get hurt, just like last time.
"Mind if I join you?" Yoongi said, it was the only thing he could think of.
"Uh, sure, was there anything you wanted to talk about Yoongs?"
Yoongs? That's what she used to call me before she... no. I cant think about that again.
"Uh- yeah. I wanted to talk about our previous relationship."
The evident smile on her face had now vanished, Rin's face darkened, and she began to speed up her walk. "There's nothing to talk about."
"There is, and I'm sorry." Yoongi pleaded, but didn't even earn a glance from the now mad and upset girl.
"Sorry doesn't fix anything."
-------------------------------------------
"And that, is how you find the product of a prime factor, any questions?"
Namjoon raised his hand. "What about highest common factor and lowest common multiple?"
"Ah, Mr Kim Namjoon, always one step ahead. That is something we're covering next lesson. Now, could everyone hand their books in to Mr Min Yoongi,"
Yoongi let out a low growl.
"And Mr Min Yoongi and Miss Katsuki Rin?"
Yoongi and Namjoon's head perked up. Rin rolled her eyes, but went unnoticed as she did so.
Yoongi stood up, and collected all of the books, a solemn step every second, until he got to the front of the class.
Rin was there with the teacher waiting for him, and someone waited outside, listening to every word.
"Is there something going on between you two?"
Before Yoongi could answer yes, Rin butted in, "Absolutely not."
Yoongi could feel his heart shatter, he liked to think something was going on between them, whether it was their previous relationship, or just a friendship. Truly, Yoongi missed what happened between the two.
"Okay then, well Miss Katsuki, I'd like you to tutor Mr Min. His grades have dropped since the start of the year, so I figured he could use some help from the top student."
Rin slightly rolled her eyes, but only noticeable to Yoongi, but she put on a sweet-student smile. "Of course. I'll do the best I can to get Mr Min higher grades."
Even though Yoongi's grades were falling, he saw this as an opportunity to grow closer to the half Japanese, a way he could tell her about the past. The past he would dwell on until his last day.
"I can meet you in the library at lunch Yoongi. I'll see you then." Rin waved, and she left the room, her light hair fading away as she yearned closer to another class.
"Thanks miss." Yoongi muttered before pushing out of the door; internally he was happy to be around Rin, but also part of him was wondering how she'd take it.
---------------------
Yoongi excitedly made his way to the library, being extremely elated to see Rin, and get closer. She sat at a corner table, with a couple of stacked textbooks, and some pens lay stray over the table.
But, one thing seemed off. Yoongi's eyes shot to her face, her cheek, left, had a red slap mark. Yoongi felt himself break into a million pieces to think Rin was being bullied, or abused.
He ran over to her, and threw himself on a chair. Rin edged back in surprise, before settling.
Yoongi placed a hand on Rin's slapped face, and slightly caressed it, his cold fingers left a cold trail across her warm cheek. Her eyes teared up, and a couple began to spill across her cheeks.
"Please don't cry princess." Yoongi whispered.
"I-I'm not crying." Rin muttered, pushing herself out of Yoongi's hand. Though the tears still spilled, she constantly refused to admit she was crying.
"Why, why of all reasons were you crying?" Yoongi softly spoke. Rin had never heard him speak so softly, or be so understanding.
"People."
"Is that where you got the slap?"
"It's that noticeable?"
"Unfortunately."
"These girls; 'you're not allowed to study with Yoongi, he's mine, if you touch him again, I will kill you,' blah blah. Nothing I haven't faced before." Rin complained. Yoongi's eyes softened, and began to tear up, he didn't want her to be treated this way.
"You don't deserve that. You never would." Yoongi muttered, as he pulled Rin into his arms. "Stay in my arms forever, I will never let you go."
"Yoongs..."
"Please. Don't ever leave me Rin. Please."
"I won't. I promise."
