Chapter 1: Mysterious New Hero?

AN: Warning this is based on the Manga instead of the anime so spoilers are included in this fanfic.

This story starts at the church of the four holy heroes when Naofumi fights Motoyasu.

Third Person POV

Naofumi fought against Motoyasu. Motoyasu was in rage, of believing that Naofumi killed Ren and Itsuki.

-same time at some other place-

"Thank you for arriving here" Queen Mirellia smiled as she was on her Filolial.

The person bowed politely in front of the queen.

"It's a big surprised to know that there are more legendary heroes in this world. A legend beyond our own knowledge" she held her fan covering her face slightly.

"It was also kind of a surprise for me as well, I don't know what is going on but we eventually will find out. Also.... I would like to meet the Shield Hero." the person lifted his head and stood at his place.

"You will get to see him so-" the queen was cut off by seeing something far away in the sky.

A big beam came down from the sky hitting somewhere far away. As it erupted the whole area.

"(That skill was...and in this direction is the church of the heroes!)" the queen commanded everyone going to the church of the heroes.

-back at Naofumi-

The pope tried to use judgment again but this time the attack got fend off by Naofumi's shield reflecting the attack to the enemy.

Motoyasu used the opportunity to stab the pope but to his surprise. It was a clone. "What.?"

"How dare you sacreficing your own disciples for the power of god" Naofumi went mad. "They all serve their life's to God. It's justified. My disciples are happy to serve god" the pope laughed. "And what about you? Are you paying the price for the power of that curse?"

Naofumi stood there with the cursed shield. As the pope got his next attack ready.

"Queen Mirellia, please handel those disciples. I give the shield hero some support" the queen nodded as the hero ran over to Naofumi.
The popes and his disciples started the next as the pope charged judgment once again.

"AL-Dreife, Icicle Prison" the Queen froze the disciples down. "That voice...!" Naofumi turned around as a guy in a cloak jumped over the other four heroes.

The guy removed the cloak as he had a wrist band on around his hand. "Warp" he used a magic spell and sensed the pope's attack further away from the battle.

"Oh dear" the Queen Mirellia was suprised. So we're the others, even the pope. "How dare you to interfere?!" he shot the arrow at the male person. The wristband changed into a pole as the hero blocked the arrow with one swing. "Amazing" Raphtalia was amazed.

"Helping the Shield Demon will be punished by God" the pope was furious.

"Be silent.." Queen Mirellia froze the pope at place as well. "Now" the hero looked at Naofumi.
"Blood Sacrefice!!" Naofumi used a skill which crushed the pope and pierced him in a steal like prison.

The pope's disciples were shocked that the pope died. "The battle is decided, lower your weapon and surrender."

Naofumi panted as the hero stood infront of him. "Who are you?"
Before the hero could answer, Naofumi collapsed. "Oi, get a grip" the hero caught Naofumi "Master!!" Filo and Raphtalia called out to him.

"(Huh? What's wrong?" he wondered. "Why are you all so worked up for? I am totally fi-" he felt the pain and saw how his body breaking down. "Ah... So this is the price of the cursed power?.... Am I.. done for?

"Medics! The Shield Hero is your top priority! Don't let him die! By the order of the queen!

-time skip-

Naofumi POV

I woke up in a bed. Covered in bandage. I had to process that I was actually really alive. I almost died because of my own curse.

"Oh, your awake. How do you feel" a woman stood infront of me. "I am fine... We finally meet queen."

We had a talk about the battle with the pope. The church of the four holy heroes and the summoning of the four heroes. Even that my influence was noticed by other country's. The Queen bowed down and asked me to lend my power to Melromarc. She even promised that I won't be treated unfairly anymore.

"In that case, there is still one thing left to show me! I requested the queen." As you say" she smiled.

We then made our way to the throne room. Before then I meet up with Raphtalia, Filo and Melty.

As we entered the throne room the other 3 idiots where also there and the king. Everything happened very fast. The king got frozen by the queen and Malty got exposed with her lies.

She and the king would get punished for giving fals accusations about me and lying around. The Queen the suddenly decided that I choose the punishment. Out of rage I was asking for the executions but that would have cause a heavy repercusions for their reputation. As the queen explained.

"Other than executions, I may do anything I wish, correct" the queen agreed "Of course, what would you like?

What followed was a big feast and the queen announced. That the king and Malty lost their royal status and are from now on called trash and bitch or for her pseudonym name" Bitchie".

At the end they kneeled down in apology and the crowd cheered for me.

At the balcony, I was with with Raphtalia, Melty and the queen. The Queen did use me but sentencing her own family was propably correct over execution.

After I also discussed to Filo that Melty can come along with us cause she will be the next queen. I rememberd what I actually wanted to ask. "Queen Mirellia, if I may ask. Who was that person?"

"Ah, Naofumi-sama is right, he helped us out. Where is he actually?" Raphtalia was a bit worked about it. It was unusual from her.

"I thought that you wouldn't ask well.." the door then opend and I saw the guy walking towards us.

He had H/C and E/C. He didn't wore his weapon until I saw the wrist band around his hand. Could it be that...?

"Ah, you are here. Why don't you introduce yourself to each other?" the Queen stood a bit aside. "I am Naofumi Iwatani and who are you?"
