Chapter 6: The Tragedy as the Dark Hero

Raphtalia POV

"We need to talk, Raphtalia" is what Y/N said. I got all nervous. I didn't know what he wanted from me.

"U-uhm...w-what did you needed to talk about..?" I tried to avoid eye contact but he only pulled me to make me look at him. He wasn't rough or forceful.

"Back on the island, while I saw only enemies in my mind and eyes. I remember that you cried... You were hurt." his tone changed to a more worried and guilty tone. "I am sorry... I don't deserve to be in the guild with you or Naofumi. I only gona put you guys in danger and hurt you all... "

"No!! Your wrong!! Even when you attacked us... Rather said even tried to kill us. We didn't abounded you. We tried to save you. You are a part of us now Y/N-sama." I held his hand tight.

"If you ever go berserk again, I will--uhhh.. We will stop you and bring you back."

He looked at me eyes widend but smiled afterwards. "Thank you Raphtalia" he patted my head. I happily leaned against his hand, purring and wagging my tail.

"Ah, there was something else." he stopped. I looked up at him. "Hmm, what is it?"

"Did you perhaps kissed me?"

My face was completely red, I took the pillow and covered his face. "PLEASE FORGET THAT!!!"

I only heard him muffling as he took my hands away from the pillow"

"Puah, hey it's fine. I didn't mind." he smiled but I was massively embarrassed. "This is so embarrassing..."

"I think when I felt your lips, a nice feeling was going through my body. I was gentel and warm.." he put his hand on his chest.

I don't know what to do, I told myself that I am gona love Naofumi-sama and stay by his side forever but... Y/N-Sama is gentel as well.. So loving and caring.

"Should I do it..?" I was thinking about telling Y/N how I feel. "Y/N-Sama... I-"

The door was opend forcefully as Firo walks in. "Firo is hungry now!"

"Firo! Your completely drenched. Did you went swimming again?" Y/N went over to her. "Raphtalia, can you get me a towel please?"

"Ah, Y-yes" I went to grab a towel in the bathroom. "I couldn't even confess to him properly...". I felt really dissapointed inside.

I handed him the towel, I went to sit down while Y/N was drying off Firo.

"Why is the floor so wet?!" I heard Naofumi in the hallway. "Geez, did you went swimming with your clothes again?"

"Well you can't blame her too much for that" I tried to convince him not to be harsh on Firo.

"Anyway, the Queen wants to talk with us, mostly with you." Naofumi talked to Y/N.

"Me?" he looked back at him. Naofumi nodded. I stood up. "We will come along with you too."

"Can we get something to eat afterwards?" Firo looked up at Naofumi as he sighed. "Yeah, after the talking."

"HOORAY!!" she cheered.

We made our way to meet up with the queen. Naofumi-Sama and Y/N were walking ahead.

"I wonder how Y/N still feels about all this..." the door opend to then conference room. To our surprise there were three other people in here as well.

"You three?!" Naofumi-sama was shocked to see, Glass, Raruk and Theris sitting across the other three heroes.

"Thank you for coming, please sit down." the Queen gestures us to sit down. Melty was being next to her.
