This was the worst part of the day. Waking up. Everything in my life would be perfect if I didn't have school. I mean my family is rich, I have perfect grades, and whole future ahead of me. Nothing would ever get me down if I had to go to school. I woke up and put on my white blouse, and a black skirt. My mom always said modest is the hottest. I think she isn't as innocent as she says she was, but whatever. I finished straightening my long black hair. I put on mascara and lip gloss. I grabbed my book bag. I unplugged my 100% phone and slipped it into my bag. Off to school, it is. I walked to the kitchen. I grabbed my lunch. A salad. Mom always loves eating healthy.

"Mija! Have an amazing day at school."

"Thank you, Daddy!"

I went and kissed him in the cheek.

"You know what. Why don't we go out to eat tonight? You, me, and your mother."

"That would be amazing, Daddy!"

"Alrighty then. Bye, my little princess."

I walked out of my house with a smile on my face. I love my father. He is always so nice.

"Good morning, Miss Veronica."

"Good morning, Smithers. Ttfn!"

I walked out onto the sidewalk to make my way to school.

I was walking to my locker as usual, when I was tripped by a shoe. I turned around to see my worst enemy, Betty Cooper.

"Oh, I'm sooooo sorry, Veronica. I didn't mean to trip your fatass."

Everyone erupted into laughter except for one person. Cheryl Blossom was supposably besties with Betty, but she never laughed when I was picked on. She just stood there feeling sorry for me.

"Hey, babe."

Reggie Mantle was Betty's boyfriend. They kissed right in front of me. Ewww.

"Please leave room for Jesus. We don't want either of you catching any more diseases."

I raised my pencil to show I didn't care

I raised my pencil to show I didn't care. They stopped and scowled at me. Then I left for my locker. Teach her to mess with me. I continued my day until school was out and I headed home for dinner tonight.

I was in my purple, shiny dress when my mother asked me how my day was as she drank her wine.

"Like every day."

She just looked at me with curious eyes. Our meals soon came. My father told us to bow our heads to say grace as we started the restaurant swarmed with cops. Then they grabbed my dad and handcuffed him.

"Hiram Lodge you're under arrest."

Before we could ask why they took him away for good.
