I walked into my new house. Or should I say trailer? I now live on the south side with my mom, because we are poor. I need to help my mom after everything she has done for me. I need a job. I already tried on the north side. They said they couldn't hire me to cause my father was a criminal. So maybe I should get a job where everyone is a criminal.     I got up, grabbed my phone and left.

I pushed the two front doors open. This place was a dump. It had pictures of naked women on the walls and loud music. Mom would never approve of this, but if this is what I have to do to get us back in our house then I'm going to do it.

"You look lost girly."

I turned to see a girl behind the bar with pick hair and a serpent jacket. I walked closer to her.

"Actually I'm not. I'm looking for a job."

She raised her eyebrows

She raised her eyebrows.

"Sweetie, not here. Trust me. The only job left is a-"

"Stripper."

I turned to see two boys. Both of them had slick, black hair.

"Shut up, Fangs."

"Make me, pinke."

The tall one sat down next to me.

"Hi there. I'm Sweet Pea."

"Sweet Pea? That's your name?"

He laughed slightly.

"Yup. So what's a little, pretty girl like you doing on this side of town?"

"I said I was looking for a job."

"You should leave before you get hurt"

"Oh come on, Toni. She would be a great stripper. We just have to show Andrews. He's the one you have to talk to about a job. That is if you're still interested?"

I should say no but think about mom. You need to do this for her. Come on, Veronica. It's just a pole dance.

"Yes, I am."

He smirked.

"Alright then. It's time to find your boss."

He got up and I followed. Here we go.
