"I cannot BELIEVE that guy wouldn't fuck me!" Talia said, talking about Jack from the party.
"I totally thought we had a connection, a real one. But all we did was make out. He didn't want to do anything else. He has to be gay or something." She said angrily. I laughed at her words, she may have sounded like a whore but she never gets told no.
"Maybe he didn't want to take advantage of you Tal, that's a good thing. Not everything is about sex, you know." I said, taking her arms and unfolding them. She huffed at my response and folded her arms again.
"Is there something wrong with me? Am I not hot enough? Not sexy enough? Why didn't he want me?" Talia whined. Talia never gets like this, unless she really likes a boy. I was surprised how after one night, this guy got all of Tal's attention.
"Tal, if a boy doesn't wanna fuck you he's either gay, has a girlfriend, blind, or actually cares about you. Look at you. Don't even fret about it," I said to my frustrated best friend, telling her what she wanted to hear.
You might think Talia is overreacting, but she never gets rejected. Ever. Besides, I'm used to her melodramatics.
Then a lightbulb went off in my head. "I know what we can do to take your mind off of it, mall."
With that one word, her face lit up.
After only an hour at the mall, we hit a handful of stores and it resulted in Talia carrying around 10 different bags while I was only holding one.
"Zo can we please go to your car to put these bags down? I desperately need round 2 but this weight is killing me." I laughed and nodded, walking to the parking lot of the mall and waiting for her to fill up my precious Jeep.
As Talia was busy shoving the bags in the trunk, I was distracted by obnoxious laughter from a group of bimbos and boys. There was one certain tall, dirty blonde that caught my attention, though. A certain tall, dirty blonde that I was trying to avoid.
But of course, without surprise, a certain blonde barbie was glued to his arm.
My eyes rolled out of habit, the sight of Logan and Tina disgusts me. Or was it jealousy? No, no way. Snap out of it Zoey.
"Something wrong?" Tal said, snapping me out of my daze. She followed my line of sight and let out a little laugh. "Ah, now I get it. We are not letting the spawn of satan ruin your mood. Cmon, we're gonna get you a cute pair of shoes and maybe an even cuter distraction." She says and I laughed in response.
She linked her arm with mine and pulled me into our favorite boutique. We were greeted by the staff. A cute, dark haired boy in particular catching my attention. When I was alone, skimming through one of the racks of clothes, he came up to me.
"Hey there, you need any help? I'm sure everything in this store would look great on a doll like you." he said, his arm brushing mine. I smiled at him, a little blush forming on my cheeks.
I was about to reject him, until I saw Logan from the corner of my eye. He was looking at me and the hottie. Well, more like glaring. He's jealous, isn't he? I looked over next to him and saw Tina clinging to his arm. I smirked at him, an idea forming in my head.
"Actually, I think I do. You have to know the best clothes here, you mind picking your favorites?" I whispered, leaning into him. Maybe he could help me take them off too. I thought, feeling a pair of eyes burning through my skin.
"Sure thing hot stuff, just meet me in the dressing room. It won't be hard to style you. My name's Reed, by the way." He winked and walked off, grabbing a few things on his way.
