The Last Peverell

Chapter Ten: First Challenge

I get changed into my uniform for the Triwizard Tournament then Dinah came into the tent and hugged me, "don't die." She was soon escorted out of the tent by one of the teachers, "now pick out of the bag." Everyone picked out of the bag and they all got their dragons so now it is my turn, "Hungarian thorn tail."

After everyone has gone and I walked out and see the egg, "okay I got this." As I said that the dragon appaired out of nowhere and I grabbed my wand and put it to my tattoo and whispered a spell my mother taught me, "Peverell sanguinem protegas me."  As soon as I said that I traced my wand down the line on my tattoo then my wand transformed to my wand into the elder wand that never lost a battle.

Basically that spell activates my family tattoo which can copy any of the deathly hallows at anytime. MY tattoo glowed and I wordlessly flicked my wand making a bright light come out of my wand and the dragon turned to stone. I walked down and got the egg and held it in the air while the crowded cheered for me but Dumbledore looked down at his wand then back at me, "THE WINNER OF THE FIRST CHALLENGE IS Y/N BLACK!"

I stood at the door waiting for my date to walk to me, "Miss. Black?" I looked up and smiled at Dinah, "so are you ready to go in?" Dinah asked putting her hand out for me to take, "yes I am ready Dinah." I took her hand and we walked in together, "thank you for coming with me." She smiled, "of course Y/N/N what are friends for." She hesitated before saying friends, "Dinah what if I wanted to be more then friends with you?"

Dinah's head snapped to me, "you have feelings for me?" I gulp and whisper, "that wasn't supposed to be said out loud." She pulled me in, "you really are something else Y/N." She kissed my cheek, "I'm sorry." "Let's us just dance," she grabbed my waist while I wrapped my arms around her neck and we danced to a slow song and in that moment I felt at peace for the first time and ironically in Dinah's arms.
