Sanders Sides theory

Hey guys. So recently I was rewatching "Learning New Things About Ourselves" (which is by far my most favourite Sanders Sides video) for like the 10th time. Whilst I was rewatching it, one line in particular stuck with me and based on that line, I was able to come up with a very angsty theory. Brace yourselves

During the video, there is a part where Patton is talking to Thomas about feelings and says how "It's not your feelings job to make sense". I found this really interesting considering how Patton, who represents Thomas's feelings, said this line, basically saying how it isn't his job to make sense.

Now throughout the series there are many examples of where Roman and Logan ignore Patton and don't take him seriously. For example, in "Growing up", Logan says how Patton "just stand there making your puns and are needlessly silly, all the time". Moreover, previously in "Learning New Things About Ourselves", they both refuse to hear him out when he seemingly randomly shouts out the word "puppets"

However, what if there is a reason behind their behaviour and they aren't doing it just to be mean? I think that the two believe that as Patton represents Thomas's feelings, he isn't supposed to make sense so therefore don't give him a chance to make sense and make him out to be dumber than he is. They don't let him properly contribute to conversations because similar to feelings, he is just there, with no real purpose

Hope you guys enjoyed my first proper theory. Please leave me your thoughts on it as well as any additional points I could add. Also, feel free to add this theory to any fan fictions you have. Byeeee
