~Chapter Thirty Three~

<Chris Brady> I've been in my cold room starring at my laptop. The wallpaper was a painting of a sad girl with fleeks of hair on her face. It reminds me of Thora Violet.

I don't know how to keep my promises when I've Aiden and Lana still living with me. I sighed and closed my laptop. I stood up to go to the bathroom and heard Thora's voice downstairs. I drew closer to the door and heard   her smooth voice louder. I quickly opened the door and ran to the stairs. My mom and Lana were present too with her. Lana looked snaky and Thora was calm. What was she doing here?

"Thora," I called and walked down. She looked at me and it made me nervous. They all turned to me. Jesse came out of the kitchen to the hall with Aiden in her arm. Thora was looking at him and she looked at me. Lana took him from her and carried him in her arms. "Let's talk inside."

"You're not stepping a foot in there with her!" Lana snakily said and I scowled at her. Thora closed her eyes and sighed. She opened them and looked at me.

"I can't wait anymore." she said. It cramped my heart.

"Nobody asked you to. Go home!" Lana said. My mom looked at me and I scratched my hair.
"Why are you still here?" I stretched my arms to Lana and she looked at me.

"Go ahead." she looked at me anxiously. "The baby." she nodded and handed Aiden to me. "Jesse."

"Yes sir."

"Take him inside." she walked forward to me and I put Aiden in her arms. I watched her go to the room and held Lana's hand. I squeezed onto it and they were still looking at me. I dragged her hand with me and threw her out of the house. I put a lock on it and she kicked the door. "I'll let you in when I'm done talking."

"Chris!" she screamed. I took a deep breath and got closer to Thora.

"Am I going to be the only one in your heart?" Thora asked and I nodded. "Do I still have to wait? Let me know if I'm supposed to wait or stop waiting. This is breaking my heart Chris." I glanced at my mom and Thora wiped a tear off. This was breaking my heart too.

"Mellisa, do we have a guest?" My dad asked from the room and I cussed out. He's always home at the wrong time.

"Uh Yeah. Violet is here." she answered. My dad walked majestically to us. He was looking at Thora from head to toe.

"Where's my daughter?" he asked. My mom pointed to the door and he looked at me. "You kicked her out?" he asked me and I looked at my mom again. "Your girlfriend?" he asked while he looked at Thora.

"Yes. She's my fiancée."

"Really? What do you have to say to him?" he asked. She turned to face me.

"I've been waiting. Can you get away with me this time? Let me be the only one for you for a couple of days. I'll stay away if you decide to let me go."

"A couple of days?" I asked confusingly. "Why?"

"You have everything you need and you're all I have." Mellisa sighed and sat down. Her arms supported her chin and she looked at both Thora and I. "Let's getaway."

"That'll be..."

"Are you leaving your wife and son here?"

"Can I make a decision without any of you interfering? Let me make my own decisions please." I said angrily. My mom covered her face with her palm and sighed. She was supposed to be on my side here. I've been angry at every one for how they've been treating me. I'm not a kid. I can make my decisions.

"Let him go George. I'm getting stressed up because of this." My mom said and I sighed. "I'll take care of your son for you. Make a decision and stop getting Violet involved in your mess. Be a man Chris."

"I'm not trying to put an end to your relationship Chris. You've a family now. Think about this thoroughly and let her go. Whatever decision you make now is going to hurt anyone in the end." George said and I nodded.

I walked closer to Thora and sighed. She was looking at me. Her big blue eyes were teary. Her hands shook as I took another step closer to her. I opened my mouth to let a word out and none came. A light tear fell from her eyes and she hugged me with force, squeezing onto me.

"Please," she said in her tears. My fingers brushed in her hair and she was sniffing on me. "Don't let me go." she quietly said.

"I won't." I said to her. She heaved a sigh and sniffed. "Let's get away from all this. I need you." she nodded. I pulled away from her and looked at the confused faces my parents wore on. "I don't know how long it's going to take. Can you promise to take care of Aiden till I get back?"

"I will." My mom said and I looked at my dad for confirmation.

"She will." I smiled at him.

"Thanks. Let me get my things." I held onto Thora's hand and walked with her to my room. She was taking slow steps and I was dragging her hand with me. We both stepped inside my room and she stood straight without flinching. Her eyes were fixated on the floor. I didn't know what was wrong with her. We can talk about it when we leave this cage.

I looked around the room and didn't know what I'll be needing. I picked up my laptop and few clothes in a bag. She was still looking at the floor while I packed up. I stood in front of her with my bag after packing. I held her hand and she looked at me. "Let's go." she nodded. I opened the door for her and she stepped out. I followed her and the door to Lana's room opened. Jesse came out with Aiden in her hands.

"Miss Violet." she cheerfully said. She was slowly shaking Aiden and smiling at us. "Are you going somewhere?" she asked, taking steps closer to where we stood. Thora moved from her and looked at the floor again. Jesse looked at me curiously and I smiled at her.

"I'll be out for a couple of days. Take care of him and let me know if anything is wrong with him."

"Yes Sir." I put a finger in his small hand and smiled. "I'll miss you." I pecked on his forehead and he coed. Jesse laughed and I ran my fingers in his hair. They were soft and smooth and really silky.

"Say goodbye to daddy Aiden." Jesse said to him. He was sticking his tongue out and I waved at him. "Bye Sir. Take care Miss Violet."

At the hall, my dad sat in the couch with Lana. She stood up from the couch and glared at us. "Don't." I warned. "I'll see you soon dad." he nodded and looked at Thora.

"Do you want to be his mistress?" he asked with his deep scary voice and Thora looked at me. "Will you be okay with it, Lana? Will you cope with her?" I squeezed onto Thora's hand and faked smiles. "This won't last. You'll always come back to your family, just know that."

"Yeah. Bye." I eyed at them and walked out. I was still dragging Thora's hand and she wasn't complaining. She was too silent. I sat her down in my car and sat in too. "Where do you want us to go?"

"Anywhere. A place your 'family' hasn't heard of." Her quite words stung. The mention of Family on her lips hurts. She was my family too. She was still my Fiancée. She was still the only one for me.

"You have me Violet. You're all I have too. I'm not going to let you go. We've been through hell to get to where we are now. I can't watch you go because of a night that ruined all our plans. You're still mine. I still love you more than you can think of. I'm not giving up on us. You gave me hope when mine was lost. Don't make it harder for us." she nodded and held her phone tightly.

Her change of mood was affecting me. The sudden appearance in my house and bold talks made me nervous.

This shouldn't be one of her weekend-break-up-dates.
