joshua plays his guitar while sitting against the lockers. it's been raining for half an hour and the worse part is he doesn't have an umbrella.

when will it stop raining? he thought.

for a second, he saw a figure at his peripheral vision. his head turned to his side and saw her. "mirae!" he stood up as he called her- stopping her from running away.

she turned to him with an awkward smile. he frowned, "were you avoiding me this whole week?"

she didn't answer. "let's talk, mirae." he sat back down to his position before, "come sit. it's still raining."

mirae sat beside joshua but stayed silent.

"we haven't really been hanging out, y'know?" joshua stated, a hint of sadness in his voice.

"you could've hang out with minyoung sunbae." she replied.

he snorted before saying, "we didn't even last a week, i don't even know her that well."

she gave him a confused look, "then why did the two of you date?"

"we don't even know but we both weren't serious about each other."

just by hearing that made mirae's heart feel happy again. she noticed the sky was bright again and the rain was gone. the both of them stood up.

"wait, then why did you send me that note saying thank you for my support in your relationship?" she asked.

"oh, that. that's just-- wait, how did you know about that? i sent
it to that girl who keeps sending me letters." he replied.

she cursed mentally at how those words slipped out of her mouth without even thinking.
