I was searching my locker for that box of sour patch kids that I had put in earlier. "Sohyun hurry up, I want my candy," my friend Annie whined. I moved my hand around like a metal detector. "Hey look, mr. crushie is coming over," she whispered, wiggly her eyebrows. I panicked and closed my locker giving it a nice slam.
"Donghyuck it's free period so why hang out with losers like us?" I asked.
I've had a crush on Haechan since the sixth grade, so basically five years now. I mean we have small conversations every now and then but, it's not an everyday thing.
He sighed, "Well Sohyun I came to ask you something."
Out of all people, why me?
"Go ahead."
Another sigh came out of his mouth. "Well, I was wondering if you would go out with me, like on a date or something?" My soul had just left my body and I froze. He looked very confused.
"Oh my little Sohyun would love to go, she's just malfunctioning right now. You can pick her up tomorrow at her house at five p.m. And take her to lotte world, she loves that place. okay-and make sure to but her cotton candy, um bye!" Annie had pulled me into the girls bathroom and lightly slapped me on the right check.

"Girl that just happened! What are you going to wear tomorrow? Oh my gosh bring your instax camera to take pictures and-" She was talking too fast I couldn't even process it.

"Annie slow down, would ya. Tomorrow is Saturday so we have all day to prepare okay," I said calmly.
"Wow you just got asked out by your all-time crush and acting so mature; aw my little girl is all grown up!" Annie threw her hands in the air.
"I am not a little girl. It's almost time for science and I don't want to be scolded by Mrs.Lee."
"Fine we'll discuss this tonight. I'll sleep over at your house."
"Okay. Now let's get out of here!"

"well annie said it but, i'm going to pick up sohyun tomorrow at five and take her to lotte world."

"well you got a big day ahead of ya."
