It is now four-thirty, thirty minutes till my date. I just can't wait! Hey that rhymed.  I walk downstairs and Annie runs towards me with her Nike cap and puts it on me. "There is the final touch to your look! Wait do you have your instax?!"
"Yep it's in my backpack." I always carry around a backpack, usually it holds my portable charger, earbuds, my water bottle, and in this case my instax!
"Good, Donghyuck should be here soon," she says as she looks at her invisible watch.
"I'm gonna use the bathroom real quick." I walk to the bathroom and hear the doorbell ring. Huh an early guy. I hear Annie scream to no one, "I'LL GET IT!"

I hurry out of the bathroom with my hands still wet. And see Donghyuck holding a single rose with one hand and one hand behind his back. I walk out of the door and look back at Annie. "You kids have fun tonight! And try not to get into trouble," she yelled out just before closing the door.
"Don't mind her. So what's behind your back?"
"Well it's really cheesy-"
"No go ahead, I love cheesy jokes!"
"Well, you see the rose I have in front is me yesterday, all alone and sad," he brings the other forward it also had a rose in it, "And after the date we'll be the roses but together," Donghyuck handed me the two thornless flowers that were bunched together.
I froze and looked at him, "Wow, that is really cheesy!"
"Well you wanted to hear it!"
"But I didn't know you were that type of guy!"
"Okay let's just go." We got into his jeep and Donghyuck started to drive towards lotte world.
The ride wasn't full of awkward silence, it was more of natural and comfortable silence. He was focusing on driving and I was focusing and the slightly illuminated stars in the sky.

We arrived at Lotte World and it was almost empty inky if it wasn't for a group of tweens that were hanging out. "Hey at least we got the whole place to ourselves!" Donghyuck exclaimed. "Let's get some cotton candy!" My eyes were wide open when I heard the words cotton and candy used in the same sentence. Haechan took my hand and guided me to the food stand. It felt like it was just him and I. I don't want him to let go. But of course he had to let go to pay. Just perfect. I took the treat that was bigger than my head and took a huge bite out of it. "You look cute with your checks stuffed," he said. My soul has left my body again.

We walked around hand in hand while taking bites out of the one cotton candy stick we had. But we bite separate sides. "Donghyuck can we go onto the Ferris wheel please?" I turned to him puppy eyes. I know he isn't a big fan of heights but, it's just a slow spinning wheel, what could happen?
He looked at me with a emotionless face that slowly turned into a sweet one. "Fine but, just this time and after this we have to go it's almost eight."
"Okay!" We walked to the Ferris wheel and didn't have to wait because we were the only people in line. "Excuse me sir? Could I take my cotton candy on with me?" The worker nodded and gestured us to one of the carts. We next to each other and put our belongings on the opposite side. Then the ride started. "Come on let go of me! It's not that bad," I whined to Haechan.
"But it's so scary!" He murmured into my shoulder. Damn how cute.
"Come on if you don't I'll kiss your head," I said teasingly. He sat straight up with a bright red face and rubbed his knees. "Do you want some more cotton candy?"
"No thanks I'm full," he replied.
"Well than how about a picture? I brought my instax."
"Sure," With that, I grabbed my bag and pulled out the camera. We were towards the top so it was the perfect backdrop.
"Okay say cheese!" I exclaimed. We leaned in towards each other, I held the cotton  in one hand and Haechan had put up a peace sign. The camera clicked and out came the picture, I fanned the faded film and the picture started to come to life.
I leaned to Haechan and we both stared at it. "We look like a real couple," he said softly "I have something to tell you."
"Go ahe-" I paused because of a sudden halt of the wheel. "Haechan, I think we're stuck!" I yelled

"just go with the flow and do what she wants."

"well that's hard to do when i'm terrified of heights!"

"enough bickering! get into your car and to her house!"
