Billie sat on the edge of the small bed in it's confined space staring at the thin dreary wall before her.

A sharp wind hit her body as the door opened in an aggressive manner making her shiver. Billie rolled her eyes "fucking don't know how to knock?"

A woman in blue scrubs entered.

In the back of her mind Billie wondered what her problem was

The woman ignored, dragging her feet carelessly "not leaving" Billie watched as she slammed what she thinks is probably a cup of expired pills on the silver tray next to her "until you take these."

Billie snatched the cup off the tray and allowed the pills to fall into her mouth

An acrid taste hit her tongue

She faked a calm demeanor, flaunting a counterfeit smile

"Swallow."

she spat the pills into the nurse's face

"I don't swallow bitch" the woman clenched her fists and yelped sharply

If Hester didn't have a good enough reason to hate Billie. She does now

As she was about to scold her. Billie held up her finger

She opened her mouth getting a blade from the side of her cheek

"See this?" She asked waving the small blade in the millennial's frightened face

The room was silent "I can kill you like right now and enjoy it or you can quit"

10 minutes later, Billie was turned on her side tracing her finger over the small marks on the wall

Hester had left, leaving the teenager back on schedule

..doing nothing

"I feel like an animal, locked in a cage with no way of-" Her thoughts were interrupted when a soft knock was heard

She knew it wasn't Hester but she chose to ignore anyway. Whoever they were knocked again "stop molesting my fuckin door" she heard the door unlock and squeaked as it opened and closed

"never been accused of that.." There stood a young woman in the middle of the room eyeing the clipboard she was given "You must be Billie..Eilish?" She asked and looked up
seeing a girl with hair the hued of blue
with her back turned

"That's my name don't wear it out" Billie responded

"I'm your new nurse"

Billie's POV

"I'm your new nurse"

Hester. Fucking pussy

I turned my body to face them, propping my chin in my palm

A girl was standing in the middle of the room around the same age as I was.  I've never seen her before

I stared her down, from her eyes to her lips to her boobs

The girl cleared her throat and adjusted her scrubs and put out her hand "Y/N" she said "I don't shake hands." Her hand went back to side with a small frown

She looked like a girl I would hate but would fuck anyways

"You can sit here though if you want." She slowly came closer and sat next to me

Y/N's POV

It's my first day and I already broke a rule. I'm not even supposed to be this close to a patient but she didn't seem intimidating like the other nurses said

"It's your first day isn't it?" I nodded "I'm sure bitches were talking. They talk about everyone " she chuckled

When I first walked in the door there were side eyes and whispers

"Don't give me those pills. They expired and taste like dog shit" I know patients are supposed to have their medicine. She could be lying to me but we'll see how the truth unfolds

For now, I'll see how she does without them
"Deal."

"I have a question." She sat up with her back straight again the wall "Maybe I'll have an answer" I bit my lip

"Why are you here?" She sighed

"Killed my friends. they weren't really good for anything really. Bodies in the trunk. Car broke down. Busted."

My hands moved against the soft material of the hospital blanket "I'd honestly see a killer as someone who was 50 year man with a bowl cut. Not you" We both laughed "what?" she said

"I'm mean you're this beautiful girl. A thought wouldn't have crossed my mind that you killed someone"
