Someone hit Cassie with a pillow, she rolled off the bed.
"Wh-aaart now" Cassie said sleepily.
"What now is that it's Christmas" Rachel replied pulling Cassie out of her bed.
"You left your room to come wake me up" Cassie said yawning.
" Wait, it's Christmas already, today is 25th" Cassie jumped up, staring at Rachel.
"Now you're awake" Rachel smiled handing Cassie a Christmas present in a blue small box.
"Merry Christmas"
Cassie and Rachel came downstairs fully dressed to the large dining room, new foods, different assorted food on the table, Cassie and Rachel settled down helping themselves out with any food.
"Letty gave me a present, surprise" Cassie said slicing out her chicken.
"Ha,maybe Christmas spirit changed her" Rachel laughed "Anyway tomorrow is your birthday, any plans yet"
"I planned to celebrate it with my ex new parent,change of plan then" Cassie said dully.
Before Rachel could reply Cassie, Mrs Kent tapped Cassie shoulder.
"You've got visitors" Mrs Kent lead Cassie through the hall.
"What visitors" Cassie asked confusedly.
"Wait till you see" Mrs Kent called merrily.
"I think it's a Christmas present" Mrs Kent added.
"Okay" Cassie said unsure.
Mrs Kent stopped at Mrs Thompson door, she pulled it open and said "Surprise"
"Here she is" Mrs Thompson said smiling.
The couple sitted facing Mrs Thompson turned to face Cassie.
"Hello baby" Mrs Winston said.
"Lind--mum" Cassie screamed.
"My husband" Linda said standing up to hug Cassie glanced at her husband.
"Sorry, we didn't say anything about coming" Mr Winston said.
"It's okay" Cassie said "What are you both doing here"
"To take you" They both said.
Cassie felt faint, she's gonna faint.
"For real"
"Yes, Right now" Mr Winston said "Go pack your stuff princess"
Cassie ran out.
"Cassie slow down"Mrs Kent called, but Cassie had reached the dining room 'No Rachel' she went upstairs,but bumping into Rachel.
"Woah,calm down" Rachel held Cassie still.
"They are here" Cassie panted "They are here"
"Who's they" Rachel asked.
"My new parent" Cassie screamed dragging Rachel to her room.
Cassie started throwing her clothes out of her wardrobe.
"I told you they'll come" Rachel said.
Cassie laughed and gave her friend a hugged.
"So much for a Christmas" Rachel tsked "I'm gonna miss you though"
Cassie nodded "Yeah me too, but hey it's Christmas!!!"
Rachel nodded dully.
"Come on, I'll visit you and get you a lot of tea bags"
Rachel choked "You think I would be taking tea bags,I'll prefer new flavours of ice cream" Rachel said dreamily.
"That's like you" Cassie said "Now come help me pack,can't keep them waiting"
