I recently just watched a video on how black Latinos or Afro Latinos get discriminated upon and as I watched it I thought of how being black has never really been beneficial to anyone I've only experience racism once in my life and it came from moving to America after what happened in that situation however that person I.e- a guy saw me sexually after we talked because we had a class together yes I forgave him but I never forgot how he treated me that being said I also remember scrolling down Facebook one day and saw a post from someone at my school saying black girls look like horse and the comment section was well as we say these days lit. I have an English class with a mixed guy and this wouldn't be the first class I've had with him nor would it be the first time he said and I quote " I don't like black girls I prefer white if u mixed u can barely pass."
I'm not bashing his personal preferences but if u have to sit and down a while entire demographic which you yourself are mixed with that's messed up no one cares what you like but at the same time saying that is basically to me saying you hate yourself anyways Ik this is all over the place but whatever I say next is completely off the top of my head so no judging.

Why
Why is it so hard to be black in society
Why must my people hurt and suffer so much
Why do we get shot
Why do we have to face racism
Why do our own men not like us

You say we are hard to control us
black women
You say we don't make pretty babies
But is that just it ?
Being black is hard
And being a black woman is even harder

We face pain even worse that our men
Since slavery we've been sexualized  lived by the white man
Forced incest and raped
We carry the pain of all our ancestors
On our back both men and women
And yet still we aren't even

It's shoved down our throats that being white is better and straight hair is more beautiful
But some how even when we meet your standards we still aren't enough.

Ik that was all over but that's just something I wanted to express also this one ps I'm not a poet or anything just writing

Dear black girl
Yes you
The one with the so called nappy hair
The one with the dark skin
The one that is hated by her own race
Yes you

You are beautiful
Your hair is beautiful
Your skin is beautiful
Your body is beautiful
Skinny, thick or fat
What ever you consider yourself
Your are beautiful

Thank you
Thank you for carrying the pain of our ancestors
Thank you
Thank you for raising our generation
Thank you
Thank you for being you

See i hope one day we all as black girls
Can be accepted
Not just our butts
But everything
From the tight  curls on our head
To the color of our skin
May we one day be fully 𝔽𝕣𝕖𝕖

Anyways bye for now hope you're doing okay and merry Christmas Eve ♥️
