After about an hour, the group meets up again in the big living room. They all discuss their findings.
"The kitchen was a disaster area," Rhett comments. "Pots and pans everywhere, cutlery on the floor, including knives. It was dangerous."
"Yeah, I was surprised at the lack of broken dishes," Link puts in.
"A lot of people might need to replace some belongings," Bob adds. "There was a lot of damage done to the bedrooms."
"Well, we have a bit of a different situation," Mark says. "Jack?"
"Yeah," Jack takes over. "When we looked outside, nothing was different."
"What do you mean?" Kirsten asks.
"You know how there's that forest out there?" Jack says.
Multiple people nod.
"Absolutely no damage has been done there," Jack says. "Or to the deck, or pool."
"What about the hot tub?" Felix asks.
"Nothing happened to the hot tub either." Mark rolls his eyes.
"That's weird though," Signe comments.
"It's like the earthquake only effected the house," DanTDM puts in.
"Maybe something abnormal is going on here," Cristina says.
"Something supernatural?" Pam asks hopefully.
"I hope not," Ethan says.
"Abnormal, yes. But I wouldn't say supernatural," Mark says.
"Yet," Liza mutters.
"Maybe we should get back to filming," Tyler suggests, changing the topic
"I think we should clean up this place a little bit, first," Mat says.
"Agreed," Jack says. "Especially if there's big messes in everyone's rooms."
So that's what they do. They split off again, this time to their own rooms.
"I forgot about the part where we're sharing a room," Signe says.
"Well, they were a little bit short on rooms," Jack answers. He pauses to hold the door open for her. "Mark didn't know before we booked the house, and there was no one else for you to share a room with."
"Yeah," Signe says. "Maybe we should have made it public earlier."
"There's a lot of 'maybes', but there's nothing we can do about it now," Jack shoots back. He takes a breath and runs his hands through his hair. "Sorry. I'm just really distracted right now, and--this is not the subject I want to focus on."
"Then we'll drop it," Signe says quickly. She barely even looks at him.
The two get to work, picking up lamps and cleaning up spilled makeup off the floor. Meanwhile, Tyler and Ethan head to the room they share.
"I can't believe an earthquake knocked all this stuff onto the floor," Ethan comments. He picks up the clothes that had been knocked out of the closet.
"It was enough to knock everyone out," Tyler answers, "so I'm not really surprised."
"Isn't it weird that nothing happened outside?" Ethan asks.
"That, I will admit, is strange," Tyler says, repositioning a nightstand. "But I guess some things are never found out."
The big group spends the rest of the day cleaning the rest of the house. Ken, Felix, and Marzia sit in the library, putting books back on the shelves, while Mark checks out the equipment.
"Anything broken?" Ken asks.
"Shockingly enough, no," Mark says, obviously surprised. "Good thing too. Some of this is Ethan's."
"I think the ball did more damage when you guys were in here with it," Marzia says to Ken and Felix.
"Hey!" Felix says. He pouts and pretends to be hurt.
"Well, she's not wrong!" Mark laughs. Then he adds quietly, "Roasted by your own girlfriend."
The house is almost completely clean by night time. The group takes that as their opportunity to film some of their night scenes. Pam and Thomas take that as their opportunity to mess around with the BTS camera again.
"And this is Thomas," Pam says, pointing the camera at the former Vine star. "He's going to give the tour of outside!"
"Yeah!" Thomas says enthusiastically. "Even though I don't know anything about outside."
The two wander around outside. They come across a gazebo that is sitting by itself near the edge of the forest.
"And this is the haunted gazebo that also wasn't disturbed by the earthquake," Thomas says. "And why wasn't it messed up?"
"Because it's haunted!" Pam replies.
The two stay there for a while. Thomas is reenacting scenes from The Sound Of Music, when Kirstie, the only girl from Pentatonix, walks over to meet them.
"Whatcha doing?" She asks.
"Well, I was just getting to 'Sixteen Going On Seventeen', but now you can help," Thomas says.
Kirstie agrees, and the two take their places. They are just beginning their song, when a loud cry pierces the night. They look behind them, toward the forest.
The shout rings out again, and this time, they hear it better. It sounds deep, and at least partially like an animal. Not knowing what it is, the group lets out their own screams, and run back to the house.
By the time they get to the back door, Mark and Amy are already there, along with Mat and Jack.
"What the heck?!" Jack asks.
"What are you guys doing?" Mark questions.
"We need to get inside!" Kirstie pants.
"There's--there's something out there!" Thomas says breathlessly.
"What are you talking about?" Mat asks.
"Did you not hear the screaming coming from the forest?" Pam asks, still trying to catch her breath.
"The only screaming we heard, was yours," Amy says.
"But how-? Wait!" Thomas points to the camera. "We have it on video!"
"Let us take a look at it," Mark says holding his hand out.
Pam gives him the camera, then watches as he and the others re-enter the house.
She grabs onto Jack's arm. "We're not crazy," she says.
He studies her for a minute, then nods. "Let's go take a look."
