It was a strangely quiet afternoon. Or so Gray thought. Yes, I know that some of you must think that Gray Fullbuster lives alone, an eligible bachelor if you will. Well, you assumed wrong. Gray has been living with the guild's resident water woman, Juvia Lockser for about 2 years now. Now, noise is something Gray deals with quite well being that he grew up in Fiore's loudest, most destructive guild of them all, Fairy Tail. He just wasn't used to the absent noise that was always there. ( in more ways than one.) Speaking of that, Gray swears that he hasn't seen Juvia for some time now.
"Juvia!" Gray called out. No response. He was getting confused.
"Juvia!" Gray called a second time. No response. He was getting a little worried.
"JUVIA!" Gray screamed a third time. No response. Gray was getting very frantic. Gray ran through the apartment. He looked in the room they shared. Nothing. He looked in the bathroom. Nothing. He checked the kitchen and shockingly didn't find Juvia at the stove cooking something. Gray was terrified now.
6 hours before at the guild hall
"Hello, Lucy-chan." Juvia waved across the guild hall. Lucy waved back, smiling.
"Hey, Juvia. How are you doing today?" Lucy asked politely. Juvia just shrugged.
"Eh, nothing much. Juvia was just trying to get away from Gray-sama." Juvia replied, putting her head on the table in front. Lucy nodded.
"I understand how you feel, Juvia. I mean it's like the boys have gotten a little annoying lately. Natsu has refused to do anything in the house and wants to keep messing around. That's starting to have disastrous events. My couch has been burned, the bed is crushed, the fridge is constantly being emptied, I have to keep cooking and cleaning and then he had the nerve to call me lazy!
"You're totally right there, Lulu. Gajeel decided to leave his scrap metal all over the apartment and didn't want to pick it up." Levy spoke from right behind her. "I think I almost died yesterday when I tripped over a long metal pole and fell down the stairs." Levy winced, rubbing her still sore shin. Juvia sighed,
"Gray-sama doesn't want to do anything. Not even take a mission. Our rent was overdue, the fridge was empty, and he hasn't lifted up a broom for a long time now!" Juvia whined, banging her head on the table. Her eyes brightening, Levy proposed something.
"We should go out. Ya know, just the 3 of us-"
"You mean 4 of us right, Levy?" The 3 of them shuddered. They knew that voice from anyway. It belonged to the one and only Erza Scarlet. Titania crossed her across her armored chest and narrowed her eyes at the 3 of them.
"Sure, Erza. We would love to have with us," Lucy said nervously. She wasn't really afraid of Erza but more of what she could do if they refused her. They didn't want what happened to Natsu and Gray to happen to them. Erza softened.
"Good. There's a really good bakery not far from here that sells the best strawberry cake. You absolutely must try it!" Erza exclaimed. Lucy shrugged.
"Sure, why not?" It turned out to be one of the best decision they ever made.
"Mmm! So good!" Juvia mumbled around the cake in her mouth. Erza looked proud. "Told you it was a good bakery."
"No kidding." Lucy agreed. The 4 of them were sitting down at the tables outside.
"Ya know, I have the urge to go shopping now," Levy commented. Lucy nodded frantically, Juvia just smiled and Erza seemed deep in thought.
'Well... I have been in need of some new armor and sword...' Erza mumbled. She then got up.
"All right! Let's go!"
Soon enough, the girls were at the mall, shopping to their heart's content. Lucy and Levy immediately ran into the bookstore, Juvia went looking for kitchen appliances and dresses while Erza... walked into the armory. 3 hours later they came out of the mall, their arms crammed full with bags. As they were walking though, Levy had a quite devious idea.
"Hey, I was thinking: why don't we make the guys pay for all the work and stress they forced us to endure?"
"How?"
"How about a pranking challenge....?"
