"Do I have to do this?" Gray whined. Juvia gave him a look.

"Yes, Gray-sama. Juvia can't keep cooking for you all the time. What if Juvia goes on a solo mission? What would you eat?" Juvia asked him. Gray shrugged.

"Easy. You just won't go on a mission by yourself then. Juvia put her hands on her hips and cocked her head to the side and gave Gray a deadly look.

"Really, Gray-sama? Would you really do that?" Gray gulped. Juvia could be a little frightening when she wanted to.

"Fine. What do you want to teach me?" Gray gave in. Juvia instantly brightened.

"Alright Gray-sama, Juvia's going to teach you how to bake a cake!" Gray raised an eyebrow.

"Are you sure? I'm not that good at baking... or cooking... or anything involving food." Gray pointed out. Juvia nodded.

"Juvia knows. That's why she's teaching you, ok? No need to worry." Gray reluctantly nodded.

"Good. Now Juvia needs you to buy these ingredients: eggs, shortening, a bag of sugar, red food coloring, white vinegar, butter, vanilla extract, a bag of cake flour, a bag of baking soda, some salt and buttermilk." Gray's jaw dropped and his eyes widened.

"That's only the cake. We still need ingredients for the frosting and toppings which are..." Gray facepalmed. "It's gonna be a long day...' Gray thought to himself.

3 hours later

Gray came walking through the doorway, panting like an idiot. "I...got...the...stuff..." Gray sputtered. Juvia just gave him a knowing smile and took the bags.

"Now that you're back, Gray-sama, we can finally begin!" Juvia exclaimed cheerfully. Gra groaned but eventually got up and followed Juvia into the kitchen where she began telling him what to do.

"Gray, you're going to take the large bowl on the counter and put in the cream shortening and sugar and whip it until it's nice and fluffy," Juvia instructed. Gray nodded. 'Pretty simple and- wait.' Gray wasn't sure he heard that right.

"Juvia..." he said slowly. Juvia looked up from what she was doing. "Hm?"

"Did you just call me Gray?" Juvia gave Gray a confused look until a lightbulb went off. She seemed...nervous all of a sudden.

"W-we-ll, y-you see Gray-sama i-is t-that u-um," Juvia stammered. Gray put a finger on her lips.

"I just wanna know why you called me Gray, that's all," Gray reassured. Juvia nodded.

"It's just that... whenever I get really focused on something, I don't really act the same as I usually do." Juvia admitted with her head down. Gray took Juvia in his arms and held her tight.

"It's ok. I like how you say my actual name anyway." Gray smirked and kissed the top of her head. Juvia's grip on his torso only tightened. Gray's hand moved to cup her chin to look up at him. He leaned in for a kiss when Juvia stopped him.

"Ah-ah, Gray-sama. We still have a cake to finish, don't we?' Juvia gave him a devious smile and stepped away from him. Gray mumbled a curse under his breath but continued working. While Juvia finished mixing the batter and was pouring it into a pan, she told (more like commanded)  Gray to start amking the frosting and was telling him how to place the toppings exactly as she said it. (she really was crazy about baking). 2 hours later, the cake was finally finished complete with buttercream frosting and strawberry-covered toppings. Gray was sweating hard after it all.

Juvia got up and faced Gray. " I'm so proud of you, Gray-sama! You can bake a cake now! (well... kinda)

Gray didn't care. "As long as this lesson is over, I'm happy too."

Juvia gave him an overly sweet smile. Oh, Gray-sama... it's not over yet."

Gray fainted and his body hit the floor with a thud.

"Oh my god, Gray-sama! Are you ok?!"
