"Hurry up, Gray-sama! Juvia needs to get to the farmer's market on time!" Juvia yelled.

"Ok, ok! I'm coming!" Gray yelled back. He stumbled, tripped over a chair, and fell flat on his face. Thud! "AUGH!"  Gray let out a groan while spitting out a line of curses as he hurriedly threw on a shirt and limped out the door where Juvia was, waiting for him with her arms crossed. It was about 3:00 am.

"I still don't see the reason why we need to get there so early," Gray mumbled, rubbing his throbbing leg. Juvia pouted.

"Because Gray-sama, it's important to get the best produce of the day," Juvia explained. "All the good fruits and veggies come early, so Juvia wants to get the first pick of the day. Juvia only uses the freshest meat and produce to cook." Juvia finished. The two then proceeded to walk in silence for about 40 minutes before Gray asked Juvia a question.

"If you want the best stuff, then why is so far? Where exactly are we going?" Gray was getting rather tired and annoyed with all the walking. He wanted a response. Juvia didn't utter a word to him the entire way.

Another 30 minutes passed.

"Juvia! Aren't we there yet?!" No reply.

Thirty more minutes passed. Gray was practically dragging his feet on the ground. Juvia on the other hand just kept walking without breaking a sweat.

Twenty more minutes passed. By now, it was 6:00 am. Suddenly, Juvia stopped. She turned around and gave Gray a big smile.

"Alright, Gray-sama! We're here!" She announced. Gray gave Juvia a weak smile.

"Great," he said softly... then collapsed.

"Oh my god, Gray-sama?!" After waking up the fainted Gray Fullbuster, Juvia took his hand and led him through the busy streets of the farmer's market. Gray's chin dropped at the number of people there in the crowded market. Considering the time they left and the time they got there, Gray thought there were too many people up this early in his opinion. ' Can't this people go to a regular supermarket instead of getting up so early to do this?' Gray groaned to himself. Gray had trouble keeping up with Juvia who was navigating through the crowd like water (ahem). She soon stopped in front of a stand selling varieties of meat. Pork, bacon, ham, beef, you name it, they had it. The woman working the stand gave Juvia a big, warm smile.

"Juvia-chan!" She waved. Juvia waved back with a happy expression.

"Emily-chan! How's the business?"

"It's doing great as always, you being my most frequent and favorite customer," Emily replied casually. Gray just stood back, watching the two converse quietly. A few minutes later, Juvia had brought what she wanted and was walking to the next stand. Gray observed the way the Juvia and the stand owners talked with each other. He was a little curious on how she knew them like they were close friends. After Juvia brought everything she set out to buy, The two started the trek back to their apartment.

"Hey Juvia, " Gray began to ask. "I was wondering how you were able to talk to them so well. I mean, you spared no effort in trying to start a conversation." Juvia had to think about her answer.

"Well, Juvia supposes it helps that she frequents the market all the time," Juvia admitted. Gray raised an eyebrow.

"Really, huh? Then how often do you go?"

"Oh, just every day."

"What?"

Hello, my dudes! I hope you liked this part. I think I like Juvia being the cooking type, don't ya agree? Bet she could make some really good food. Till next time, peace.
