"Your daughter has shown remarkable progress over the last 4 years, I.... I'm not really sure why she is not ready yet." The woman said very hesitantly."What do you mean you're not sure! You have a doctorate in your profession, you are the best in your field and you mean to tell me over the last 4 years you have come up with nothing that is affecting her!"
"Angela, calm down honey. As you said she's the best so if she doesn't know at the moment then she doesn't know. Have a little faith in Alexa, she may pull through, she's our remarkably strong daughter." Said Alexa's father desperately trying calm his wife down before things got out of control.
"I most certainly will not calm down! This is our daughter you're talking about now. Her life has been ruined by this how can you sit there and be calm! Her teenage years are practically over and she is still not better, how can you sit there calm as you are and tell me that things will be okay!" Alexa's mom now screaming on the verge of tears.
Alexa's mom now sat down in the plush chair of the woman's office, immediately regretting the ferocity of her outburst.
"Forgive me... it's been a lot to still deal with this." Alexa's mom replied carefully swatting away tears as to not ruin her immaculately done makeup.
"No need for apologies, I completely understand it's a lot to handle. It's a very complex matter this and I'm afraid only time will tell whether or not she gets better. Her me.." The doctor was interrupted by the loud ringing tone of Angela's phone.
"Sorry I have to take this." Angela blurted out before she stepped out of the room hurriedly, the sound of her Jimmy Choo heels on the sleek wood flooring piercing the silence of the office.
"She really does seem to be getting better. She has her friends over much more often now. It's a stark contrast to previous years, I can only hope she improves with time."Alexa's dad continued.
The doctor smiled sadly. "Is it the same three friends?" She questioned carefully.
"Yes, however I've heard she made a new friend that goes to her old school that she talks to on her phone."
"I have an emergency at the White House, I need to leave STAT." Angela rushed in collecting her bag off the floor after pressing a quick kiss to her husbands lips.
"Kick ass baby." Alexa's dad replied with a smile as she was halfway through the door."

Alexa was most certainly bored by herself in her massive house. All her three friends were at the school she used to attend, Rosewood Day School. So when she got a FaceTime call from Lois at exactly 11:07 she was rather perplexed why her friend wasn't currently in class, even more so when she answered the call to see the now familiar face of Aiden with Lois.
"Hey Alexaaaaa." Lois practically screamed down the phone in a remarkably cheery and loud mood much to Aiden's dismay who was in the drivers seat, he did mutter a quick hello to Alexa before focusing on the road.
"Why Ms Sayidi are you not in education at this moment? You too Mr Walker."Alexa replied as she sat down on the plush couch in the living room.
"School was looking ever so dreary so we decided to ditch whatever lessons we had next."
"You dragged poor Aiden away from his expensive education, how mean of you." Alexa laughed making a sad pout with her mouth.
"Actually, from my very short time at Rosewood I've found truanting every now and then to be the only way to cope." Aiden finally spoke. Alexa gave a small laugh as to say "I completely understand".
