DAMON'S POV:

I probably shouldn't have snapped on her like that. But what kind of person leaves another on a completely different continent?

I didn't expect her to have a guy with her and I don't even want to be here. Next time she wants to go to another country, she's going alone. Lili is plenty capable of being on her own, but I just have to get Stefan to see things that way.

I pull out my phone and call her. My earlier apology wasn't very convincing to either one of us.

" Hey Lil, I wanted to say sorry."

" Yeah. I know I already said that, but I'm being genuine now."

" No, I'm just saying that I want you to believe me."

" Liliana will you please just shut up and listen?"

" Tell your boyfriend that I'm sorry for the outburst and I'm looking for plane tickets back home because it's obvious that you don't want me here, and technically I'm not needed."

" Yeah, love you, too."

I slam my phone down; why did she have to be this difficult?

I grab my jacket and slam the door shut, Paris was annoying.

I go to the airport and give the lady my ticket and passport. She says something in French and just stares at me. I grab my passport back from her and smile.

I aboard the plane and look beside of me. Some random fat guy breathing heavily.

I roll my eyes and look away from him.

Lili really was better company.
