I look at her face go white whenever her phone rings and she looks at the caller ID.  I want to comfort her, but I'm driving and there's only so much I could without crashing the car and killing us both.

She reaches out with a shaky hand to turn the music down. She clears her throat before answering.

" Hello?"

" What do you want?"

" Yeah, you've already said that."

" That doesn't make any sense, Damon. I mean why -"

She stops talking and just listens to what he has to say for a few minutes.

" No, you don't have to do that."

Her phone drops to her lap and she looks at me. " He hung up on me," She says.

Damon definitely does seem like that guy that would hang up on you.

" Sorry," I tell her, genuinely sad.

" He's leaving, too."

" Oh," I reply surprised. " Do you want me to take you back to the hotel?"

" I don't have anything else to do. Why not."

I make a sharp right turn to get us in the right direction and Lili almost falls onto me. " Put on your seat-belt," I laugh.
