Back at night raid's base akame was still puzzled about who had saved her or who had more or less helped her. She decide to keep the knife a secret from everybody at least for the time being. She still couldn't shake the feeling that somebody from the darkness the Shadows was watching them. Who was it what did they truly want were they a distraction for them to get something. Were they a friend or an enemy these were all the questions swirling in akame's mind.

Mine- akame you've been more quiet than usual what's up you look like you've seen a ghost?

Akame- it's nothing or at least I think it's nothing.

Leone- what do you mean?

Akame- that mission that we were on I had a very weird feeling that we were being watched studied.

Najenda- don't be so paranoid akame I'm certain it was nothing.

Sheele- I'm not too sure about that.

That got everybody's attention in the base ..A cold feeling seem to go over everybody.

Sheele- there was a man that was at the mansion at the same time that Tatsumi was. I think before we showed up. He had left the office of the man that we had just killed he looked like he had gotten something from there. He wasn't interested in fighting me I tried to get his name but he didn't say it he was dressed in mostly grey and black his face kind of hidden by a hood. There was something about him that seemed very inhuman right before he disappeared I saw at least some of his eye it looked like it was glowing dark blue.

Najenda expression change from puzzlement to worried

Najenda- are you certain about that Sheele?

Sheele- I can't be one hundred percent certain it was very dark. But I can say that he moves as fast as akame. And he did correctly deduced that we were all members of night raid but he said something that puzzled me. He said that we had a part to play in his plans one way or another.

The room went quiet none of them really quite realizing the implications of what was being said.

Najenda- whether or not this mystery man is a threat or an asset will have to remain to be seen for now Tatsumi will be training with you akame.

Akame- yes ma'am.

Najenda- with that out of the way is there anything else.

Bulat- I still have a question for Sheele about the stranger she sought and akame I also have a question?

Akame/sheele yes

Bulat- akame you said that you thought that somebody was watching you this Mission from the darkness right? And Sheele do you believe this person you ran into could possibly be the same person akame believes was watching us?

Sheele- like I said I'm not a hundred percent sure but it is a possibility.

Najenda- there are a lot of people in the Empire that are like that but what you're talking about is somebody who is inhuman and there's only three people that I can think of offhand that are like that. For now I want everybody to get a good night's sleep.

In the back of Najenda mind she couldn't shake the feeling that the rumors of the new head of Imperial intelligence might be true. She couldn't help but think and ask herself has he returned after 6 years what has he become?

Back at the Imperial Palace Revan put back on his regular robe and armored on his desk is the paperwork on night raid including psychological evaluations. He already sent an Envoy to a group of Assassins to go in all directions to search out night raids base or to get a general idea of where it is. In the morning he was going to go see a woman whose fiance was put to death by Captain ogre. Revan would put the next part of his plan into action. In order to ensure his secret and his identity all those with the knowledge had to be dealt with Captain ogre had to go first and it would allow him to watch night raid get rid of an enemy and he could see how they fought depending on who they sent. But for the time being he was looking over new blueprints for his flying machine a battleship he would change Warfare in the Empire forever once it was constructed he would have to go to his personal laboratory miles away from the empire to keep prying eyes from seeing what he was up to. Apart from him and those working on the project and the minister were the only other living people not even his older sister known. Revan then opened up one of the files of night raid the black haired red-eyed woman akame he began to read her file the information was interesting to say the least and quite insightful. Revan open file after file reading all the necessary information he needed to know until he came across Sheele. As Revan read her file a plan began to form in his mind he had to take a member of night raid alive to interrogate them and out of all of them she was the most likely to break to him. Revan looked over at the clock realizing what time it was he opened up a secret compartment in his office and walked through to his room undressed and crawled into bed.
