Tatsumi had just gotten back to base after being missing for a day and a half. He looked exhausted and he looked pained the expression on his face worried Mine. Najenda talked with him about everything that had happened on revans Mission. Tatsumi was happy that Sheele body could be brought back to be buried properly but he was still sad that he had lost another friend. He delivered his report that he had been trapped on an island with esdeath. But he had gained more information disinterested everybody but out of all of them Najenda was very eager to talk with him.

Najenda- we need to talk.....Mine you will get you time with him later.

Tatsumi knotted and followed susanoo and the boss into a private room. As susanoo close the door the question start to fly.

Najenda- what did you find out don't leave any detail out.

Tatsumi- I tried to get esdeath to be on our side it didn't work I shouldn't be surprised about it. I learned a little bit about her past the part of it was very odd to me.

Najenda- odd in what way?

Even though Najenda new about esdeath Childhood that her father was the chieftain of her Village. That she hunted and killed danger beasts and that her mother died because of the Beast. And that the Northerners hunted and destroyed her Village and killed her father. And how she received her Imperial arms and now the minister was joyful about her power. And that was about it.

Tatsumi- she alluded that she had a stepmother at one point in time. She said that her father and the
her Village had conquered a smaller Village killed all the men and took the women as slaves. Her father had taken one of them less than a month later the woman had ran away from what Esdeath had said.

Najenda- what else happened?

One day earlier

It was dark on the island and Tatsumi and Esdeath had been working hard fighting danger beasts all day but now it was time to relax they were still trying to figure out a way to get off the island. Tatsumi wanted to get more information about Esdeath and Revan how much did she know about him or did she even know anything. He couldn't reveal that he knew anything about Revan he'd only seen him a few times when they were at the Imperial Palace and not for very long. He found out about Esdeath's childhood as much as he needed to know. Tatsumi ultimately decide to throw caution to the wind and simply straight up asked.
 
Tatsumi- Miss Esdeath can I ask you do you have any siblings?

Esdeath- that depends do you mean a sibling that's directly related to me by a mother and father or are you meeting a step sibling.

Tatsumi- I don't know I guess both.

Esdeath- when it comes to pure blood relation no I am an only child.... however I don't know if this is 100% true or not my father did take on a war bride.

Tatsumi- what's a war bride?

Esdeath-  the chief of my Village my father Concord other villages we killed their men and took their women. When my mother died my father Concord and nearby tribe he selected from them a woman with pure Snow White hair. She was property she was his and his alone about three months after we took her she had escaped. My father never told me but I think she was pregnant.

Tatsumi was horrified so this is what happens when people are conquered they're treated as property.

Tatsumi- so what was the woman's name if you don't mind me asking.

Esdeath- her name was Kissara she did teach me a few things but for the most part she always kept her distance. I could always sense that she didn't like me too much but I could also sense the life inside of her growing in strength.
