The rescue operation
3 days later

Revan and Sheele woke up extremely early to start with the rescue operation I told her that I would go to the imperial capital and see what the plan was. If everything went alright both Tatsumi and Sheele would be reunited with night raid and I could go back to planning other things. The cabin that Revan and Sheele had stayed in was comfortable and perhaps one day it might even be home for Revan. If everything works out Revan wanted to leave civilization behind and live a peaceful life.

Sheele- Revan is something wrong? You seem out of it.

Revan was snapped out of his musings and out of is mind's perceptions. Oddly enough when he thought about the future he thought about somebody along with it. Perhaps he should try to talk to her one day soon.

Revan- no I'm just thinking of the future

Sheele- anyone in particular?

Revan- what makes you think it's a person

Sheele- I think I know you well enough to Guess that you have somebody on your mind.

Revan- you might be right about that.

Sheele- it's akame isn't it?

Revan was taken aback was he that easy to read without his mask on and how did she know? Revan ultimately decide to play dumb better that he didn't know.

Revan- who can say?

Revan walked into the other room to grab his equipment as he slowly lowered his mask on to his head Sheele wrapped her arms around him and simply hugged him.

Revan- why are you doing that?

Sheele- you know your a lot like her and I think you two would make a beautiful couple.

Revan was shocked he didn't know what to say it had been a long time since he had thought about love. Maybe he should start thinking about what he would do after the Revolutionary War was over.

After both Warriors got dressed they headed to their respectable destinations they had discussed that they would meet up after Revan got all the details about Esdeath's little Hunting Party. Not to mention that he had to meet with the minister to find out what else was going on. Revan also begrudgingly remembered he had to meet with the rest of the jeagers. Revan ultimately decided he didn't hate them but he did find them rather annoying. But another thing personally bothered him what was he going to do about Kurome? Did she really want to kill Akame or was it misplaced anger. Perhaps there was something he could do for the Sisters and it couldn't hurt to actually get Kurome on the side of the Revolutionary Army. And perhaps he could score in some points with Akame.

Time skip 2 hours later.
Imperial Palace

The minister- oh I see you have been busy my young friend.

Revan- I need both you and the emperor to agree to my plan before I push things to the next level.

The minister- Revan you've never had to explain yourself to me I know that you follow every order without question. But I must admit this is a little bit unusual even for you.

Revan-I would be very much appreciative if you didn't tell the Jaegers what I was up to for the time being.

The minister- oh but of course my dear friend my son will be here within a matter of months I'm certain you two will get along just nicely.

Revan noticed the minister had a somewhat revealing smile that put his mind on edge. Revan known the minister far too well he was planning to replace him with his son. That was never going to happen not on his watch.
