The Galaxy Garrison was still in business. The military academy taught people of all ages how to pilot, how to use the technology from other planets, and many other things. They taught the people on how to be the next generation of heroes the Paladins of Voltron use to be.

Spencer McClain, a daughter of Lance and Pidge, was sitting with a small group of people. Their classes were over for over a month. They had a break, it was almost Christmas. "So, Amber. What are your plans for break?" Amber Kogane, a daughter of Keith Kogane, shrugged. "All I want to do is see my dad. That would be nice." Penny Holt Kogane, a half sister to both Amber and Spencer, sits with them except she isn't talking, she's on a laptop. Another person apart of the group is Tara Shirogane, she sits watching everyone. "Guys..Look." Tara nods her head towards someone who walks in the distance. "Who is that?" Spencer asks. "Laine Kogane, she got booted from here like dad. Why is she here?" Amber said. Penny shrugged, so did Tara. The group watched as Laine walked into a room, Officer Althea Holt's office. "I wonder what Officer Holt wants with Laine." Penny says. "Want to find out?" Tara asked with a smirk. "Eavesdropping can get us booted like her!" Amber cried. "Yeah, I'm with Amber. No way am I eavesdropping." Spencer stayed, "I actually want to pilot." Tara rolled her eyes, "You guys are no fun."

"How do you feel about coming back to the Galaxy Garrison?" Officer Holt asked Laine. "I'll pass. My dad might be thrilled about me coming back, but I'm good." Officer Holt looked at her in shock, "Miss Kogane, please do understand that a spot in the Garrison is hard to get. Especially if it's someone like you, who has been...expelled, from the school." Laine laughed, "Oh I know. But I really don't want to be here. I have other things to do." With that, Laine walked out but a few steps out of the door someone ran right into her. A girl with brown hair put neatly into a braid was on the floor. Laine held her hand out to help the girl up. "Sorry." Laine said. "Y-You're Laine Kogane, right?" Laine nodded. "I'm Penny! Penny Holt-Kogane! Nice to finally meet you!" Penny took her hand and got up. "Hi Penny." Laine stated.

"What is going on over there?" Amber asked as the group looked at Penny and Laine. "No idea." Tara said, afterwards she blew a bubble with the piece of gum that was in her mouth. "Oh quiznak, they're coming!" Spencer warned as she saw them walk over. "Guys! You remember Laine, right?" Laine gave a smile, her grey-purpleish eyes pierced through everyone. "Yeah." Amber said, she gave a small glare that didn't go unnoticed by her. "Well, I was talking to her and she told me she might be able to come back to the Garrison! Isn't that cool?" The others sat in shock, they all wondered how she was able to come back. After what she did last time there was a guarantee she wouldn't come back. "Yeah.." Tara said through a fake smile. Laine's small smile dropped when she felt a vibration from her pocket. She pulled out her phone and looked at it. "Gotta split- woah..did you guys see that?" Laine had saw something shimmer as it fell towards the ground. "See what?" Amber asked. "That shimmering light?" Penny raised an eyebrow at Laine, "Are you okay?" Tara sighed, "Guys, she's obviously playing with us. Like what would fall from the sky that shimmers?" Spencer gulped, "I-I don't think she's lying," Spencer turned to look at Laine but she had sprinted off towards the shimmering falling thing. "Guys- we should follow her."

The group followed Laine, who had noticed they were following her. Laine sprinted until she found a place where a giant hole was carved, laying in it was the blue lion. "Woah." Laine said as she slid down a side of the hole to get to the lion. Suddenly a particle barrier appeared. "Guess I'm not the right person for this lion." Tara was the first one from the group to come join Laine, "Maybe one of us are." Laine shrugged. "You guys can try."

Slowly but surely, each one of them but Amber had tried. "You're the last one, Amber." Laine stated. Amber looked at the lion and put her hands on the barrier, "Come on, Blue...open up..for me?.." As she muttered that the blue particle barrier disappeared and Amber lost her balance. Penny caught her as she fell over. "Looks like you did it, Amber." Spencer stated in awe. "Yeah..looks like I did." The blue lion roared to life as its mouth opened, everyone piled in. Amber took the seat of the pilot. "What do we do now?" Tara looked around, "I think we go for a joy ride." Laine rolled her eyes, "Or we tell our parents that the Blue Lion crashed back down here?" Penny nodded, "That might be a safer option." Amber smiled, "I agree with Tara. Let's go fly out!" With that Amber started up the Blue Lion, but she couldn't control it. "Woah- where are we going? Amber!" Spencer cried. "I- I'm not controlling it!" Amber said as she pushed random buttons, "Does anyone else hear that?" Laine raised a brow, "No?.." Amber looked around, "The Lion! It's talking to me!" Amber took her hands off the controls and sat back, "Autopilot on a Lion- who knew?" Spencer facepalmed, "We did. Did you not pay attention to when our parents told us about their adventures?"

"Where are we going?" Laine asked. "No clue." Amber stated. "Well, ask the lion." Spencer suggested. Amber shrugged and closed her eyes. 'Oh, beautiful Blue. Please tell us where you are taking us!' Amber thought. Amber opened her eyes and looked straight ahead. "Guys, what is this place?" It was a beautiful planet, it was a lot similar to earth. "We're about to find out." Laine stated. Tara and Spencer clutched to the pilot seat and Amber grabbed one of the controls, hoping it would do something.

Suddenly the lion started plummeting towards the planet, everyone screamed. If they couldn't land the lion, they would die from the impact.
