"What are you reading, Mom?" You asked
"Your school sent this. It says that tonight they are doing a show. You know dancing, singing, magic and all. Just for fun" she said
"Oh my god" You looked at your mom shockingly
"What? Do you participated?" She said
"Yes but im not ready. I thought it was on Tuesday" you said
"Maybe they changed it. You have to be ready. What are you going to perform?" She said
"Im going to sing but i feel like i cant do it" You said
"You can do it, honey. Just sing your heart out. Believe me, when you start singing you will feel better and confident" she smiled

At school
You saw Sadie at her locker and approached her
"Hey babe" you leaned againts the locker beside her and smiled

"How what?" You raised your eyebrows
"You and Finn. You looks so happy yesterday" she smirked again
"Ugh we're friends. He just wants to hangout with me, okay? Why are y'all so hard to understand?" You palm face
"You have feelings for him. You sure you just want to be friends with him?" She said
You looked down at the floor

"I do love him but...but i dont know if he does" You sighed
Then the school bell rings
"Let's go. We'll talk on lunch break" Sadie put her hand on your shoulder and walked into the class.
