Part 20

Y/n POV
Oh thank god summer is finallly here. I dont have to face all those cringy teacher and the boring lessons for a month. I got to spend my time with my friends especially with my girls, Mills and Sadie. Jack and us have been really good friends and he's part of the team now. Also, Finn and I are back to act normal like we used to.

"What are you guys going to do this summer?" Jack asked as we exit the school

"I dont know yet. My mom didn't plan anything for this summer" I said

"We should spend time together" Caleb said to everyone

"I got an idea" Millie smirked "How about... we go to the quarry lake? You know.. having a picnic kinda like a lil vacation" She added

"Oh my god that would be so cool. Im in!" Sadie smiled

"Me too" I said

"You guys?" Millie asked the boys, raising one of her eyebrows

"Yeah we're in" Caleb nodded

"Okay so after this, start packing and tomorrow Finn is going to pick us up. Is that okay, Finn?" Millie said

"Sure but if you guys late im just gonna leave y'all" Finn said sarcastically

~Time skip~

I woke up to the sound of my alarm ringing. I open my eyes slowly and rub them until my vision getting clear. I stand up and make my way to the shower. After shower, i put on a natural makeup look and changed my clothes. Since my turn is the last for Finn to pick me up, i watched The End of The Fucking World on Netflix.

"When does Finn's going to pick you up?" My mom asked as she sit beside me

"I dont know. Have to wait" I replied

Then a honking sound came from outside of my house.

"That's him" I said to my mom

I took my lil luggage and opened the door exiting my house. I saw everyone at the back and Finn at the front seat.

"Gotta go mom. I love you" I kissed my mom's cheek and hug her

"Okay, be careful honey and please dont do anything stupid" She fake smiled and waved at me as i made my way to the van.

I put my luggage in the van's boot and went to the passenger seat in the front.

"Whose van is this?" I asked confusely

"Caleb's uncle" Sadie said and i nodded

"Who's excited ?!!" I shouted

"Fuck yeah" Noah shouted

~time skip~

We arrived at the quarry lake after about 1 hour. All of us took out our things from the van's boot. Sadie brought a tent for the girls and Noah brought for the boys. We stand the tent and put our bags and stuff in it.

"Who's ready for a swim?" Jack said while taking off his shirt and pants

"Meee" Millie jumped into the water

Sadie and I changed into our bikini and went to the lake. I sit on the board that beside the lake because the water was too cold and Sadie already jumped into the water.

"Hey what are you doing? Come" Sadie said, waving at me to come into the water

"It's too cold" I said, wrapping my arm around me

"But it's fun. Come on!" Noah said excitedly

I smiled looking at them having a really fun time. I waited until i feel like joining them. Suddenly someone grabbed me from behind and carried me in a bridal style. I was super shocked

"OH MY GOD FINN! NO! PUT ME DOWN!" I punched him on the chest and he laughed devilishly

"NO! IT'S TOO CO-" He threw me in the water and i screamed

They all laughing at me and i stood there in an embarrasement. I looked at Finn who's bursting into laughter. I smiled at how cute his laugh was but im still angry at his action.

"You're so dead Finn Wolfhard" I smirked

"Oh yeah?"

He suddenly ran and jumped into the water and the water splashed at my face.

"Finn!" I wiped the water off of my face

"That was a good one bro" Caleb laughed

Everyone had a really fun time. We were really tired being in the water for hours so all of us get out of the water and changed. Then we made a campfire. We sit in a circle and eat some foods that we brought.

"This is boring. We need music" I said while putting a marshmallow in my mouth

"Hold up" Finn stood up and went to the tent

He came back with a guitar in his hand and i looked at him weirdly. He sit besides me

"You sing?" I frowned my eyebrows and he winked

He started to strum random melody on the strings until he got a song. And... he starts sing

"You're just too good to be true, cant take my eyes off of you"

Wow i didn't know he can sing. His voice sounds so angelic. It's so soft and beautiful. It's too hard to not staring at him. I enjoyed his voice so much that I didn't even eat the marshmallow.

"You'll be like heaven to touch, i wanna hold you so much"

"At long last love has arrived, and i thank god im alive"

The way he sings it perfectly makes me fall in love with him even more. The lyrics literally describing me right now.

Sadie's POV
I noticed the way y/n look at Finn's singing. She is deeply in love with him. She didn't even eat her marshmallow. So i take this chance and record them. Millie also joined me and took pictures of them. She then tells everyone the way y/n and Finn sitting beside each other and how y/n enjoying her beautiful view. Everyone look at them in "aww"

Back to y/n POV

"That was beautiful" I smiled at Finn as soon as he finished the song

"Thanks" He smiled back and we stared at each other

"*fake cough* how about we go to sleep now? Im really tired" Millie said loudly so she get Finn and my attention

"Yeah we should" Finn said
