In the shadows is where the monster belongs,
The emptiness is what I feel,
Blackness too powerful,
too weak to fight itㅡI wish I was stronger.
They wonderㅡ"why are you hiding?"
I say nothing, listening to the soft whispers,
If I tell them, will they see that I suffer?
Body tensing, head throbbing,
Voices becoming louder,
Repeating those harsh words.
What can I do to stop the pain?ㅡit will eventually conquer.
Haven't they seen the marks that covered my body?
Haven't they seen the tears that fell from my grief-strickened eyes?
Haven't they seen the darkness within me?ㅡI'm about to surrender.
In the shadows is where the monster belongs,
If I tell them, will they see me as a blunder?
