CHANBAEK ONESHOTS

The Fan

"Chanyeol, come on.. It's just one fan." Suho pleads, trying to get his stubborn group member to go out. They had gotten a special request from their manager to meet this fan, and Chanyeol was unwilling to go. He didn't see why this one fan was so special.

"Chanyeol, look, this fan is a patient. Have some sympathy or something. At least do this for our public image." Kris says. Kris definitely knows the right thing to say, because the word 'public image' strikes something in the man.

"Fine, damnit. Only because this benefits EXO."

He had smiled brightly at the reporters and fans, waving enthusiastically and being friendly. Some of his group members laughed at how fake and forced he was being. However, he did look very happy and excited. He was a good actor indeed.

When he reached the hospital, he immediately dropped his facade, sitting outside on the bench and staring down at his phone screen. He wasn't interested in chatting with some sick person, he only did it so his group would look good to the public media.

Half an hour later, the door opened, and somebody left the room. Chanyeol instinctively looked up, having heard some sound. And his eyes widened. It was only for a second, but he remembered it clear as day.

An adorable, puppy like boy had walked out, a bright smile on his face that gave him a butterflies in his stomach. His eyes sparkled with joy and his dark chestnut brown hair was gently caressed by the slight wind as he walked away.

Chanyeol had watched the boy in stunned silence, but when he finally came to his senses, the mysterious boy had disappeared.

A few minutes later, the rest of his members came out, and he walked off with them to their limousine. Sehun had continuously blabbered on and on about the boy; how friendly he was, how sweet he was, and how he'd love to meet him again.

But through the entire chat, Chanyeol seemed slightly dazed, so a concerned Suho asked him what was wrong. "Was there this.. You know, family visitor? Brown hair, quite short, cute?" He asks curiously.

At this, Chen burst out into laughter behind them. He walked quickly, overtaking them. "Yo, dude," Chen said with a wolfish grin,  "The guy you were talking about was the fan you were supposed to meet."

Chanyeol didn't know why he was so desperate. He hated it, and he hated how much he wanted to meet and converse with that adorable boy. He got connections and some information from the manager, and managed to get in touch with the boy. He couldn't believe that he was so stubborn that he had wasted the chance to chat with the adorable boy for almost half an hour.

He arranged a meeting with him again, and needless to say, the boy was extremely excited to meet the last member of EXO that he didn't get to see in their last visit.

He said his name was Baekhyun, and hell, Chanyeol thought that was cute too. He didn't know why he was obsessed with this boy. He hated the thought of love at first sight, it sounded so cliche and sappy. But yet here he was suffering because of it.

Later on, he met Baekhyun at Cafe Anteiku down the street and he was utterly enchanted by him. He adored all the cute little giggles Baekhyun would let slip from his plump pink lips, and how his eyes would light up joyfully. He was adorable, lovely and funny (maybe even his perfect ideal type), and Chanyeol couldn't help but to want to hug the small boy tightly in his arms. 

He found himself scheduling even more meetings with Baekhyun, and he began to fall more and more for him. When the media finally caught up with their meet ups, they received surprisingly positive feedback, even gaining a ship name of "ChanBaek".
