Encounter

Myra just rushed out of the house, when she saw Mayank Pandey coming.

"Hi, what a surprise!"

"Sorry to come unannounced, actually I thought I should accompany you to Chetan's", he said.

"Okay, let's do this," she said nervously.

"Myra, you have nothing to worry about. When it isn't your fault, you shouldn't be nervous. Now let's investigate". And he put on his goggles turning towards his car.

"Bond.. James Bond," I teased.

His head flew back in laughter and they entered the car.

"Ready?" He asked in parking.

"Yes," Myra said confidently.

He gave her a smile and they entered the building.

"Aren't you and Chetan best friends from college?" She asked.

"Yes... He is a great business man. That's why this situation is as appalling for you as for me," he said.

"You haven't talked to him about it?"

"I did and its a mystery to him too, because he knew he had lost the deal after watching your presentation. His exact words were..'If Nitin has to be our competitor, he should always keep Myra Sharma in his firm' .... And then suddenly the deal is his and the money appears out of nowhere", he said.

It was difficult to process all this, " You mean to say, Chetan doesn't know how the money and contract reached him?"

"That's correct".

"Then who will do such a thing?"

"Chetan is frantic from the moment I talked to him about you, he feels its someone from his office", he said.

"Oh, I thought it was going to be easy. I get to blame Mr. Chetan and everything is right in the world. Turns out he is a good guy", she said.

He chuckled, " that's why, this investigation is important for all of us".

Reaching the door, she saw Nitin coming out of Mr. Chetan's cabin. She froze, looking at him, handsome as always.

"You know we will find out who the real culprit is.. Don't let him get to you", said Mayank dragging her attention.

"I know, Mr Pandey", she sighed.

"Mayank, to you", he said.

She smiled and that's when her eyes clashed with Nitin Oberoi.

Nitin froze looking at her, his gaze lingered on her face longer and then his expression changed from shock to anger in a split second looking at her company.

"Hello Nitin," she greeted.

"Hi Myra, what are you doing here?"

"Why don't you ask Lucy, maybe she will tell you?" She said bitterly.

"Drama Queen can go to hell for all I care", he said.

"You should have thought about it when she did create a drama accusing me", she said.

"We have to solve this," he said.

"Actually you are a little late for that Nitin," Mayank interrupted their conversation.

"What do you mean?" He asked angrily, clenching his knuckles.

"You let her go, I think that is enough reason to understand this," he said smug
gly.

"You don't..." He started

Myra interrupted, " Hey, calm down both of you. It is not the place to start fighting. Frankly, it's my decision so both of you stop it".

Nitin glared at them both and left.
