Investigating

"Hello, beautiful!" Came a voice when Myra was engrossed in her work.

"Hi Mayak, what are you doing here?"

"Just wanted to meet my friend, and thought to pop in here as well", he said.

"I was just going in Chetan's cabin, let's go together", she said.

"Sure".

"You don't trust me an inch, do you?" Asked Chetan as soon as he saw Mayank.

"With her, nope", he smiled cheekily.

"Don't talk about me as if I am not here!" Said Myra.

They joked and then started working on the investigation.

"This clearly means, your accountant is responsible", said Mayank.

"I think so too. But there has to be a reason to blame him", replied Chetan.

"There is." Interrupted Mayra.

"What is that?"

"He is an old friend of Rita, her mother is diagnosed with cancer," she said.

"Ok. But we don't have a proof yet," said Chetan.

"I am working on it," she replied.

Both the guys exchanged a look.
"You have already solved this", exclaimed Mayank.

"We can't afford to waste time, he has a plan. Before he executes it, we have to stop him".

"What I fail to understand is, Rita is a secretary in his office, why is he stealing for her? " he was puzzled.

"Simple, he loves Rita", she stated.

Mayank looked Chetan, both clearly impressed with the work.
