Looking at the beach, it felt peaceful. The waves reaching slowly towards me.
"Someone is enjoying the day!" Came a voice.
Myra smiled and turned to find Mayank removing his shoes.
"Hi".
"Hello love, what's up?"
"Just admiring the beauty", she said.
"So am I", he said and went to sit behind her.
She let her head rest on his shoulders and let out a sigh .
"You are truly amazing, do you know that?" He said.
"Thank you," she replied blushing.
"How are you holding up?" He asked.
"I am okay. Happy that it's over".
"Are you sure?" He asked.
"Positive!" She said.
"So when do you join the office?"
"Whenever you say boss", she replied cheekily.
"Say that again!" He said.
"Whenever you say", she replied again.
"What did you call me?"
"Boss!" She replied still confused.
"It is so sexy, the way you said it!" He said looking at her.
"Mayank! Stop it", she hid her face in her hands and laughed.
"I am serious", he said.
She looked at him and turned to give him a hug.
"I really love you", she said.
"I love you more", he replied.
She felt the safest in his arms.
