**Zayn's POV**

I was so glad when Niall text me back. If I couldn't have him as a boyfriend, I would have him as a friend. All I wanted was for him to be a permanent fixture in my lonely existence I call my life.

Niall did indeed keep true to his word and I saw him the next day walking through the coffee shop at exactly 10:23am. I got his order all ready and handed it to him as soon as he came over.

"Zee, you remembered my order man! Thanks, erm how much do I owe you?" He asked me.

"Don't worry about it, have it on me. It's good to see you again," I told him.

"Erm, I was wondering what time your shift actually ends. My boyfriend isn't back till late so I'll be on my own and will get bored as usual. If you want to come over, you're more than welcome to," He said.

"I finish at half 1 so yeah, I'd be more than happy to come over," I nervously said.

"Great, well I'll come pick you up in a bit then," he said and then took his order and walked out the door.

I couldn't believe this. Niall just invited me over to his house! I was so nervous, the butterflies in my stomach came fluttering back and a huge smile appeared on my face. I was in such a good mood for the rest of my shift, I even greeted the customers with a small smile... which isn't something I often do. I couldn't wait to finish my shift and head to Niall's house.

Eventually, when 1:30 came around, I literally ran into the back, untied my apron and rushed into the bathroom to fix myself up before Niall arrived. My hands were shaking with excitement as I combed through my hair and sprayed a little hairspray on my quiff. I shoved some gum into my mouth and sprayed a little deodorant over my clothes. I heard Stacey, another worker, call my name from the front of the shop. I took a deep breath before opening the door and heading outside.

Niall was standing in front of Stacey, swinging his car keys on his finger. His smile was enough to make me fall to my knees! Fortunately I didn't embarrass myself and I managed to stay on my feet as I walked towards him.

"Ready to go?" he asked.

"Let's go!" I replied, and with that we left the shop and headed to Niall's house.
