**Niall's POV**

I felt quite bad for kicking Zayn out like that, but Harry over reacts with these kinds of things. Zayn is just a mate after all... right? I kept replaying what he said over and over in my mind. 'Just what I needed.' Was he having a bad day or did he just want to spend time with me? I hope he isn't feeling lonely. I never see him talking to anyone in the coffee shop and he seems to be quite nervous a lot. Maybe I make him nervous? I hope not. He interests me and makes me drawn to him all the time. He never gets out of my head even when I'm with Harry.

**Zayn's POV**

As soon as I made my way outside, I saw a car pull into Nialls driveway. A young man with curly hair and vibrant green eyes made his way out of the car.

"Excuse me, who are you?" He asked me.

I froze in my spot. I knew exactly who this was. I saw enough photos around Nialls house to know this was Harry, his boyfriend.

"Erm, I'm Zayn. Nice to meet you," I said whilst holding my hand out for him to shake. He completely ignored my hand and carried on interegating me.

"Zayn, hmm. Why exactly were you in my house alone with my boyfriend?" He asked me with an angry tone to his voice.

"I'm just his friend, man. Why are you getting so jealous and possessive? Niall is allowed to talk to other men that aren't you." I had gained a bit of courage from somewhere. I was not going to back down to this man.

"Come with me." He instructed me. I followed him into the house and Niall immediatly sat up in shock and what looks like, fear?

"H... Harry. I didn't know you were home." Niall stuttered.

"Do you have anything you want to tell me Niall?" Harry asked with a stern look on his face.

Niall walked over to Harry and before he could even touch him, Harry backed away. I moved to stand next to Niall and he had a worried look in his eye.

"Of course not Haz." I could almost see the tears in his eyes.

"Did you enjoy your little cosy time together? What did you get up to?" Harry asked some more.

"All we did was watch TV and eat popcorn. I don't see what the big deal is?" I butted in. I did my best to defend Niall but he was having none of it.

"Well don't let me stop your fun. Go on. Carry on watching your show. I'll just leave and come back when you're done." He was over reacting about nothing. We were friends... nothing more.

"Harry... I'm sorry. I just... I thought Zayn could use a friend." Niall was fidgeting with his fingers and practically begging Harry.

"Don't be sorry Niall. He's aloud friends you know." I snapped at Harry. He looked at me with a glare and furrowed his eyebrows.

"He has friends. Why does he need you?" Harry asked.

"I don't. I don't need him. I was just trying to be nice. Haz come on... you know how vulnerable I can be." Niall laughed nervously. I can't believe he just said that. I thought we had something. A connection.

"Prove it." Harry demanded. "Tell him you don't need him and you never want to see him again."

I felt like jumping on Harry and ripping his head off. Why was he making such a big deal out of this? I'm not standing for it.

"Niall... you don't have to do this. Nothing happened!" I shouted to Harry.

"I didn't say anything did." Harry replied.

"Zayn... just go. Please just... just leave." Niall stuttered. I disobeyed him and stayed still.

"You heard him. He doesn't need you. You're nothing to him. Leave." Harry told me.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Why did I even think I could get involved with someone who had a boyfriend? Especially one like this. It was then I realised I was fighting a loosing battle.

"Fine." I turned and left the house, Harry followed behind me.

"Zayn." he called. I turned my head and he was stood at the door smiling. "We'll find another coffee shop."

And with that I left.
