"i don't know what to do."

donghyuck just smiled gratefully as taeyong let him inside his house.

taeyong was his step brother and one of the person that donghyuck trusted the most. one that had been supporting donghyuck in almost everything he do, it's only natural for donghyuck to come to him when things go wrong. he'd consider taeil - his cousin - but taeil was away taking a holiday with his family so donghyuck can't really bother him now.

"it's okay, taeyong. i just need to get off for a while." donghyuck said, settling himself to laid on the couch, taking a blanket that taeyong has prepared as he knew donghyuck would end up going for the couch anyway. "i heard from jaehyun." taeyong started, sitting across from where donghyuck was at.

"i guess it's that bad if you're coming to me at three in the morning." donghyuck chuckled lightly before closing his eyes. really, he just wanted to get a rest.

seconds passed and silence came on the frame. donghyuck knew taeyong had a lot to say, it was literally hanging in the tip of his tongue. 

"this may came out bad but you know that it's kind of your fault too, don't you think?" taeyong said after a while.

donghyuck kept quiet, letting his mind doing all the answering. "you're the one who started this kind of relationship with him, you can't expect mark to stay with you together." taeyong sighed before continuing. "it's bound to happen anyway. if i was him, i would be tired too hyuck. i wouldn't like to be treated like some sort of toy, it's tiring. harder even cause he love you. mark loves you hyuck. but you ignored all of it and rejected his affection to you."

taeyong's words were hurting donghyuck so much yet he knew it was the truth. what he said was nothing but the reality donghyuck need to face. this is his doing, his game that he started. mark was his piece, one that he used to play. donghyuck was the one who decided it to started and now that it's becoming worser, donghyuck need to learn the consequences.

"you took him for granted hyuck. you're aware of his feeling but you played with it. you're playing with other men when you have him to love you wholeheartedly. and now that another person came, you're sad because of it. i don't even know why you're really sad, are you heart broken because that person took away your precious doll or because he took away mark who cares about you?"

donghyuck's eyes started to sting as he blinked. he turned his head to the side, facing the dark surface of the couch. 

"if you're still going to act like an asshole then it's better if you let him go hyuck. mark was hurting for a long time already, he would start to walk away if you continue to be like this. think of him, how he is now. don't be selfish and consider his place now."

maybe that's what made taeyong so special, he always knew what to say. he wasn't afraid to unleash the truth, he believe that being truthful would be better than sugar coating his words to take care of one's feeling.

"you deserved this donghyuck."

a single tear ran down from donghyuck's eyes.

he knew, this is what he deserved. after treating mark like that, donghyuck deserved all of this pain just like how mark deserved the happiness jeno would bring to him. donghyuck deserved to be in pain and mark deserved to be happy.

"i love him, i love mark."

donghyuck muttered slowly, the words that he thought was so strange before was so painfully beautiful now. he kept repeating it as more tears spilled from him, a hurtful remarks of his digging its way to his heart for being so stupid and ungrateful all these time.

taeyong sighed quietly before standing up. he went to donghyuck, pecking his forehead and said a 'good night' before leaving the younger man to deal with his own problem.
