AT: Omg guys sorry I took 6 million years to make this chapter. Not that anyone reads this anyways, but I'm still apologetic. Anyways, let's get right into this shall we?
Han stared at the shadow in the foggy light. It seemed to be another beast, yet upon closer inspection, another life form was on top of it. Thankfully, it seemed to be human. The beast being ridden had long blue and purple fur, and a dog-like face. It was about the size of a horse. The only features Han could make out of the person was dark grey, almost black, hair pulled up into a tight bun. By now, Alex had caught on to this and got into a fighting position. The lizard like monster wasn't quite as fast as the dog one, which meant that the two boys would have to take this time to strategize their plan of attack. "The cat thing probably has a weak spot somewhere around its chest. If I can just-" "Cat?? No way man, that's a dog." Han butted in. Alex turned to face him. "Bruh I ain't ever seen a fucking dog like that." "I haven't seen a cat like that either!" The two boys bantered until they felt a warm breath on their face. Looking up, they saw the creature, its mouth so close to their noses, they could smell its breath. "Damn you need to brush your teeth." Alex whispered. "Are you two getting on or what?" Han looked up to the person, the man, holding his muscly arm out to grab onto. Without hesitation, Alex grabbed on and sat on the cat-dog's back. "Alex! What are you doing? He could be dangerous!" Han warned in a harsh whisper." The guy held out his hand towards Han as he said, "Well, I don't think you two have much of a choice. How you got out here is a mystery to me. If you couldn't tell, this is the boss field, though I suppose you wouldn't know what that is. You are a bunch of level ones after all." Han was about to grab the hand to hoist himself up, but the guy took it back, and jumped off of the other side of the animal. The reptile hissed as he waddled towards them. Han forgot that it was even there, for he was caught up in.... 'Introductions' if you could even call it that. The brown eyed man grabbed a potion of sorts out of his pocket. "Lmao that guy has a butt chin" Alex said. "At least he can grow stubble." Han replied. Alex did an exaggerated gasp but stopped talking. The man's pink shirt seemed to sparkle in the sunlight as he threw glass bottles at the creature. They all shattered on impact and the liquid burned right through the scales of the giant lizard as it make strange gurgling sounds. A blue substance poured out of the gash in its side and its mouth. It singed the grass around it. Making it look crisp and brown. The more Han looked, the more horrified he became, as the beast's tongue was removed from it's mouth, teeth marks engraved into it. The guy sealed the hunk of meat into a bag and strutted back over to the two scarred boys. "WHAT THE FUCK MAN??!" Alex screeched. "I don't get what you're asking me here. Mind rephrasing that?" The man replied as he got on the horse and helped Han on too. "What did you do to that thing??" Alex asked, shocked. "First,, would you mind telling us your name?" Han said, as he was quite curious to know. "My name is Matteo Wessex, but you will call me Matt. The Dragolipse was in so much pain, that he bit his tongue clean off." Matt explained. "Oh,, I... see. O-our names are Han and Alex. I'm Han and-" Han didn't get to finish when Alex started bombarding Matteo with questions. "What was in that potion? What's a Dragolipse? Why did you need that tongue?" Matt pulled some reigns on his pet and they started moving. "I don't feel like answering that right now." He said, and stared at the space in front of them.
