when i walk into david's house, i see him sitting in his favorite spot on the couch, a blanket wrapped around his body making him look super cozy

he slowly leans forward with the controller in his hand, getting into his game, as he bites his lip in concentration

i walk around the opposite side of the couch, slowly sitting down, watching his character move on screen

he plays the same game for a while, surviving easily, until the it ends and he gets a victory royale 

i clap "good job baby"

he jumps slightly, looking over with wide eyes, but once he realizes it's me, he relaxes

"i didn't even hear you come in"

i shrug "you were into your game and i didn't want to disrupt you"

a smile forms on his face as he sets his controller on the table in front of him before opening his arms

i get up from my spot, running into his arms, causing him to lay back onto the couch as i lay on top of him, both of us laughing

"you're so warm and cozy" i mumble into his chest

he laughs "i have been sitting here for a while"

i laugh as i pull my face out of his chest, looking up at him, a smile on both of our faces as i lean in to kiss his lips

"do you want to play some more?" i ask

he shakes his head "no, we can watch a movie or something"

i smile, knowing he's trying to be considerate of me, even though he wants to continue "baby, i like watching you play"

he raises an eyebrow "really?"

i nod, laughing "yes"

he smiles "okay, then i will play some more"

i smile, getting off of him "good"

he sits up in the position he was sitting in before, wrapping the large blanket around the two of us before grabbing his controller off the table, setting up a new game

i wrap my arms around his waist, cuddling into his side

"is this okay?" i ask

he looks down at me, smiling widely "of course it is"

"i just didn't want to mess up your game"

he laughs shaking his head "you could never"

i smile as i turn my attention to the screen

i don't know how long we are sitting there, but kristen and scott showed up, so i'm guessing it's around three in the afternoon

"hey guys" david says "let me just finish up this game real quick"

"sure, take your time" scott says, sitting down on the couch, kristen joining shortly after
