surprise {jeff}

david asked if he could film a bit, for his vlog, at my apartment

i was skeptical at first, but he promised that nothing would get damaged and no one would get hurt, so i finally agreed

i'm told to sit on my couch, so i do as he points his camera at me

"y/n, this isn't a bit like i said it was" he starts

i give him a confused look as he continues

"a certain someone asked me to set this up and while, he didn't request for it to be filmed, i decided that if i was helping, i was filming and he agreed, so-" he pauses as the door opens

i smile as i watch jeff walk into my apartment and over to me as he nervously plays with his fingers

jeff being nervous never happens, concerning me as i stand up, taking a few steps towards him

"hey, what's wrong?" i ask

"i um- i like you y/n. but it's okay if you don't like me or whatever and-" i cut him off as i grab his hands in mine

he looks at me, waiting to see what i'm going to say

i smile "i like you too jeff"

he smiles widely pulling me into a hug, lifting me off the ground, making me laugh as i wrap my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck

i expect him to put me down, but he doesn't

instead, he holds me tightly as david walks out of his hiding spot, filming us

"that was so cute" he says with watery eyes

i giggle "were you crying?"

"maybe" he says, wiping his eyes, making us all laugh

david leaves shortly after, letting himself out, as jeff is still holding me in his arms

"you can put me down now" i say, giggling

he laughs "i know, but i just don't want to let go of you"

i smile "put me down and we can cuddle instead"

he playfully sighs "fine"

we both laugh as he sets me on the ground before jumping on the couch

i sit down next to him, grabbing the remote as i scroll through netflix

"what do you want to watch?"

his face lights up "a scary movie"

"i already said i'd cuddle with you" i whine

he laughs "i know, but i'm in the mood for one"

i groan before handing him the remote, letting him scroll through the horror tab

i hate scary movies and he knows that

"we can watch a comedy after. promise" he says, a big cheesy smile on his face

i playfully roll my eyes as i curl up into his side, feeling his arm wrap around me, holding me close

"fine, you win"

he lets out a laugh as he clicks on a movie with a horrible cover

i take a deep breath, preparing myself for two hours worth of suspense

jeff's pov

god, just holding her in my arms made me feel like the luckiest man in the world

i couldn't help myself, picking a scary movie

i wanted her close to me, just like i had been wishing she was for the longest time

she grips onto me as a jump scare crosses the screen

i smile, leaning down to press a kiss to her head

i've never been happier than in this moment
