What's Wrong?

(Joe's Pov)

I decided to go with Dianne to the hospital. Her mum was away and she needed someone. Ellie was fine now but they wanted to do some tests. I was terrified something would go wrong, Ellie shouldn't mean anything to me- as sick as it sounds-but her mum means everything to me. And I don't know why.

I came over to do some work with Dianne. She didn't let me inside and insisted we went to the library. She's cute when she concentrates. I smiled when she looked up at me.

(Dianne's Pov)

It hurt me to see Ellie connected to all of the wives, looking at me helplessly. I held Joes hand. I've forgotten how long I've been falling for him now. He's so cute.

Me and Joe decided to get a drink at the cafe. We'd been meeting up calling it study dates. I hope they were more than that to him. I'm failing physics on purpose now. I really enjoy our studying sessions.

(Joe's Pov)

I'm so glad she's ok. Dianne was sat stroking Ellie's fingers. Babies facinate me, so tiny and perfect. Ellie looks just like her mum. Same eyes and Dianne's natural hair colour -dirty blonde. She's a really pretty baby. Just like her mum I guess.

The doctor walked in and his face looked solemn. I gripped onto her hand. I'm really sorry... he began.

Shit. I felt Dianne tense up.
