I was opening my locker as usual it was early in the morning and I hadn't gotten a cup of my coffee cause I thought why not go without no coffee for a day see how that goes
well no bitch it doesn't work like that
I messed up my combination about four times but I had finally gotten it open until I felt something prodding at the side of my stomach and the sound of a gun trigger being pressed
I screamed and the whole hallway stopped and then continued doing what it was doing
"What the hell." I said catching my breath
Carter and his best friend Jackson were laughing more than they should be
"That was not funny." I stated trying to open my locker
"Yeah it was." Carter said putting his arm around me
"Yeah it really was." Jackson said putting his gun away
"Your both gonna get in serious trouble if you don't be careful with guns around campus." I warned and they both laughed
"Sweetheart if I was worried about getting in trouble my life would be a lot more different." Carter whispered in a deep voice into my ear
"Well someones has to open my locker because I can't get it open." I said dryly
"You know your cute when your frustrated." Carter said twisting my locker combination into the lock and it opened in seconds
"Now you see was that so hard?" Jackson asked me
"How did you even get to transfer here?" I asked rolling my eyes
"You know I don't know but I got to transfer to so I'm not complaining." Jasmine said popping up
"Oh look its the girl version of Carter." Jackson said in a dry tone
"Oh look its the Carter wannabe." Jasmine picked up
"Hey you two no flirting." Carter warned said hitting Jackson lightly
"Your one to talk." Jasmine said looking at me and winking at Carter
"Oh were not dating." I said my face probably growing red
"Whose not dating?" Kelly asked coming out of nowhere kissing Carter's cheek and I felt my heart drop and shatter inside me my heart fell so deep the acid in my stomach must have burned it
"Whose this?" I asked trying to sound as friendly as I could right now
"I'm Kelly who are you?" she asked looking me up and down
"Kelly this is Bree but I call her Lizzy cause its more fun that way right Liz." Jackson asked me ruffling my hair
"Oh I see so shes the rat that people keep saying has Carter's heart." Kelly laughed and I stopped walking
We were all walking down the hall together but once I stopped everyone stopped
"Excuse me?" I said
"Oh I'm sorry not rat a reptile your Lizard my mistake Liz." She said with the fakest smile I have ever seen
"Hey Kelly just chill out." Carter said
"You know what I'll just walk alone to class have fun." I spat with poison look directly at Carter
"Bree wait!" Carter yelled
"What?" I asked loudly a bit louder than I had intended
Jasmine, Jackson and Kelly all looked at us
" She didn't mean it just-" I cut him off
"Just what its clear you have a girlfriend I have a boyfriend too you know this." I said "Matter of fact."
I took the pocket knife he had given me out of my back pocket
"Here have this back." I said hurt walking away

Heeey guys so its me if you know I am the author of Sold To The Gang my other story you should go read that its a pretty great book if you ask me anyway sorry for the short chapters this transition of the story of normal teen life to gang cartel life has to go over really smoothly so short chapters are the way to go;)
