"Bartenderrrr....hand meeeee....another whiskeyyyyy... neattttt." A slurred sloppy voice echoed through the bar. YueYue was out celebrating the fact that once again In everyone's eyes she was just some ordinary "cute" girl. Liu Tao had made sure to make it known to everyone at the inn when Cheng Xiao was there.

"Fuck, I work so hard to be more than just a face people rememberrrreer. I'm trying to leave.... a damn....legacyyyyyyy.....behind because I am stronggggg.... I am independentttttt..... I know I'm not the prettiestttttt.... but.....doesn't everything.... else matterrrrer....more?! Whyyyyy.... am I even letting this stupiddddd...commentttt...get to me?! I'm a badassssss....I just wish sometimesssss..... I didn't have to handle everything with such lightness. Ughhhhhhhh...." Slamming her head on the bar in defeat, she was empty and burned out.

"Bartenderrrrrrree.....hit me again, same pleaseeeeeee, Hicccaa...hicccaa...hicaaa" a hiccuping Yue begged for more.

"I'll take that" a husky voice next to her picked up the drink.

Looking up with an immense desolate stare. "Well...Well....Well. If it isn'ttttt....the great HeDiiiiiiiii.....You here to tell....me abouttttt......your prettyyyyy.... little girlfriendddd? Hicaaa...hiccaaa..."

"Don't do that YueYue, not here. C'mon we'll talk back at the inn, just you and me. I promise." Urgent eyes, pleading for her understanding.

"AREEEE YOU...CRAZYYYYYY?!.... I'M NOTTTT...I CAN'T GO...BACK THEREEEEE....I NEED SOME TIME ALONEEEEE....." a teary but proud Shen Yue said.

"Okay, okay, my YueYue I'll get you a room close by and how about we talk and you let me take care of you tonight?"

"Won't yourrrr...newwww....girlfrienddddd miss... youuu??? Hicaaa...hicaaa...hicaaa" petty YueYue asked even though she knew his answer.

"You're my girlfriend YueYue, she's nothing more than a guest of the inn. I don't know her and I don't want to know her, so stop acting like that. Now let's get out of here."

Gently placing her in his strong arms, while her head lay on his chest. He carried her to their room and set her on the bed. She was fast asleep, snoring ever so lightly she finally seemed calm and tranquil.

"Damn it YueYue, I don't understand how you let Liu Tao get to you. You're fucking mesmerizing and beautiful in the full sense of the word. You're more than just your looks you know? I'll never get over how you've stolen my heart completely. I'll forever be yours and I hope you know I'll always do my best to protect you. I love you so damn much and one day you'll be the mother of my children, I promise." As he was getting up to go change he felt a hand pull him down towards the beautiful woman laying in that bed.

"I love you HeDi, don't ever leave me okay?" She wrapped her arms around his neck and gently rubbed her nose against his. "I'm sorry about today baobei"

He hugged her tighter and kissed her fervently. "You're my life, I'll always be there for you no matter what, I love you. Let's get some rest, we'll conquer tomorrow together, remember that."
