Caridad Jimenez had begun dating Oscar Diaz in their eight grade year. In their sophomore year, the same year the two kids professed their love for each other, Oscar was jumped into the Santos gang just as every other male in his family had been before him. Junior year was an all-around bad time for the couple. Caridad's father passed away, Oscar's mom left for the final time, and he was arrested for murder. Receiving a sentence of 4 years, Oscar broke up with the young girl. He didn't want her to waste her life waiting around for him. Caridad hated him for it but would look out for his younger brother while he was gone. Now she's in her sophomore year and Oscar was released from prison a few weeks earlier. Although Cari despised the boy, she still has so much love for him and love doesn't just go away.
