"Finally!" I say slouching in my chair. "Then I can go home and relax with my familiar." I say fixing my posture and getting ready to eat and drink my tea.

"Yes, I suppose you do have to go home soon," Ciel says clarifying the words that I have just spoken. He did have a saddened look on his face, but only for a brief second before he hid it away.

I thought for a moment then decided to speak my mind. "Oh, I just remembered, I need to go pick out a dress for the ball and you need to come with me," I tell the young Earl.

"Why not Lizzy?" He asks me rather flustered.

"She is way too pink and frilly," I say folding my arms, "don't get me wrong I absolutely adore the girl," I take a pause once again thinking how I want to word this, "I was just hoping-" I was suddenly cut off by the devil himself.

"Miss L/n is trying to say she wants to spend the day with you," Sebastian says cutting into the conversation while taking away our plates. I blush, but I still find the courage to glare at to Sebastian. "You did order me to keep you safe, even if it is mentally," he said finishing with a smirk and walking away.

"I might be able to clear an hour or two of my day to help you pick out a gown," Ciel says sipping his Earl Grey Tea. "Sebastian," Ciel raises his voice slightly to summon said man.

"You schedule for today is free, you had nothing planned for today, you are free to do whatever you wish," Sebastain says making it super clear that Ciel has nothing to do.

I smiled to myself while taking a big gulp of my tea. "Then you have no reason to deny my request," I tell him while filding my hands in my lap.

"I guess so, Sebastian, go prepare a carriage," Ciel says to Sebastain. The butler then bows and heads for the door.  We waited a minute or two until Sebastian came back in. Ciel pulled out my chair and let me go first. But what I saw from the corner of my eye, made my heart skip a beat for the first time.

I saw Sebastian handing Ciel a feminine looking coat, but Ciel had a blush on his face. "Wait," Ciel said before I could open the main door that lead outside, "here, it is the start of autumn," he says as he helps me with my coat.

"Thank you," I say and then before I could open the door once again Ciel opens it for me. I know not a big thing to go all gaga over in this time period, but Ciel did it and he didn't even smile at me before. "Thank you, again," I say giving Ciel a slight smile.

"You're welcome," Ciel says to me while looking down at the ground.

As we walked to the carriage, I found myself woundering where I made an impression on Ciel for him to act like this. I got into the carriage still distracted by the thought. I sat across from Ciel looking out the window. "Do you love Elizabeth?" I asked Ciel surprising the both of us. Did I just ask that?

Ciel, being his calm, composed self, shifted in his seat with a light blush. "No, only as a cousin," he tells me. I don't see what he is doing since I am still looking out the window of the carriage.

After a few more minutes, the carriage stops. The door opens soon after and Ciel gets out first. Then I get out, taking Sebastians hand and I almost trip while getting out. Ciel takes me to various dress stores. I see blue, red, pink, frilly, straight, boring, unique, but none that catch my eye. Ciel finally takes me into this little store and I see the most beautiful dress in history.

It is a dark blue fabric that shines, it also has a light blue upside down triangle on the top part. It is off the shoulders with a sweetheart neck line. All kinds of jewels line the part and also the middle of the dress. It is simply breath taking. "Excuse me how much is this dress?" I ask the sweet looking old lady at the counter.

"That beauty is three hundred pounds," she tells me. Now if I am correct, that is a lot of money for this time. I look over to Ciel to see if he is going to say no.

"Don't worry about the price, if you really like it then I will get it for you," he tells me nonchalantly with and emotionless face. I start to do that squeal that Elizabeth does when she sees Ciel and I hug Ciel the exact same way.

"Thank you!" I say a little too loud. I compose myself and back away straightening my dress. "Thank you," I say quieter and more emotionless. I then quickly grab the dress and go change into it. It was a perfect fit, like it was made for me. I come out to see how I need ot tailored. It didn't need much so the price didn't go up much.

I changed back into the dress I came in with and grabbed the new fabulous dress that was now in a bag. "Let me carry that for you Miss," Sebastian says as he reaches out to take the bag.

"I didn't know girls these days just let people hold their clothes," I said to the demon who just tried to snatch my baby. "This dress is the second most important thing I own at the moment, nobody's touching this," I tell him putting the bag far away from Sebastian.

"My apologies," Sebastian says with and irritated under tone. I hear a light chuckle and it wasn't from Sebastian. I smile a bit knowing I could make Ciel laugh, even if it was just the slightest laugh.

We make our way back to the carriage, but before we make it I, being clumsy for the first time in a long time, trip on thin air. I braced myself for the impact, closing my eyes. Instead of feeling pain, I felt arms around me instead. I open my eyes to see a blonde haired, blue eyed boy had caught me in a dipping position.

He helped me into a normal standing position, "Alois Trancy," he greeted me. But he seemed to be glaring at Ciel and Alois's butler seemed to be glaring at Sebastian. They were in a glare war.

"Thank you for catching me, but I really must go," I tell Alois while looking nervously over at Claude.

"Does Claude frighten you?" The icy blue, mischievous eyed boy asked me with a laugh. "Sebastian is a demon too," he tells me like I am stupid. Ciel was about to intervine in my fight. So I cast a spell on him so he couldn't. I can fight my own battles.

"Yes, I am perfectly aware of what Sebastian is," I say venom dripping from each word. "It's just I have heard stories about you two, Claude is a spider demon and I am not particularly found of spiders," I say taking a nervous gulp. "That being said," I snap my figures and the spell I cast on Ciel is gone, "Ciel help me," I say fast and I hid behind the slight taller than me, Ciel.

Ciel takes my hand, "If you would excuse us, we need to get ready for the Queen's ball," Ciel fumes and leads me away from the smirking Alois.

"Thank you," I thank Ciel as we enter the carriage.

"I hate Alois so much," Ciel tells me looking furstrated. He then sits down next to me. "Are you really that afraid of spiders?" He asks me amused.

"What, no, absolutely not!" I say louder than I ment to. I fold my arms and pout looking out the window. "Spiders are creepy stalkers," I mumble.

"I never would have described a spider as a stalker," Ciel says with a slight smile. He looks my way and the smile just grows.

"Spiders are everywhere," I say, "even if you don't see them they are still there," I say shuddering at the image.

The carriage eventually stops and I am helped out of the carriage as usual. I say I am going to my room to start getting ready for the ball.
