The Last Ball

The Date

It was Friday!  Time to get ready for my date with Jonny!  I put on my favorite floral top and a pair denim capris.  I curled my bright red hair and bobby pinned back a section.  I added an off white flower for a little extra pizaz!  

I also put on an anklet that Chloe had made for me when we were just first years.  It was blue, white, purple and pink.  As for my shoes, I put on navy blue Toms.  

As I walked into the commonroom the first person I saw was Sabrina, Yay! I thought sarcastically.  She walked towards me.  

"Hey Mckenna we need to talk." She said in her stupid voce of hers.  

"What for Shitbrina, I mean Sabrina actually no I don't."  I replied.  

"You stole my man bitch!"  

"Whoa girls let's not fight!" Chloe told us.  

"No I didn't!  He asked me to go out with him!"  

"Oh shut you pie hole!  You asked him and you know it!"  Jonny finally came out of the boys' dormitory!  

"McKenna babe!  Sabrina?"  He sais as he saw us.  

"Jonny, great timing this were about to get bloody."  I said happily to him.  

"This isn't over Mckenna!"  Sabrina screamed.  

"Shall we go babe?"  

"Yes we shall Jonnykinz!"  

We walked to a carriage it was beautiful.  It was covered in cream colored lace and three big pale pink roses on either side.  He lead me into the carriage and followed after me.  There were unicorns pulling the carriage!  

Jonny gently grabbed my hand.  Yes!  When we got to Hogsmeade we walked to the Three Broomsticks.  

"Reservation for Light, please."  Jonny told the waitress.  

He really went all out for our first date.  

"Right this way you two."  the waitress told us.  

She lead us to a table set for four I was confused.  I saw another waiter leading Fred and Angelina toward us.  I smiled.  We all  sat down.  

"So, Jonny this is a double date?"  

"Yeah, is that a problem babe?"  

"No it's fine.  So Fred, Angelina, how are you guys?"  

"Great!  Today is actually our 16 month anniversary!"  Angelina said happily.  

They held their hands.  

"That reminds me, Angelina, happy sixteen month anniversary!"  

He pulled out a diamond necklace.  

"Oh.  My.  Gosh!  I love it Fred!!!!!!"  Angelina squealed.  

Jonny pulled out almost the exact same necklace but there was an amethyst in the center of the heart.  

"Jonny!  It's beautiful!"  

He put it on me as I gently pulled my red hair up.  It was gorgeous.  He leaned in to kiss me.  Best kiss ever!  Not that I had kissed many boys but still it was amazing!  We slowly went apart.  

We ordered and ate.  I got a butterbeer with my meal.  Jonny and I shared one!  How sweet!  

"So, McKenna are you learning how to apperate this year?"  Angelina asked me.  

"No, I'm not old enough."  

"What about you Jonny?"  

"Yeah.  I can't wait too!"  

"Hey!"  I said and jokingly hit him.  

"Don't worry babe!  I'll take you places!"  

"Yay!"  

"So Fred, what do you plan to do once you're out of Hogwarts?"  I asked him.  

"Me and George are going to open up a joke shop in Diagon Alley!"  

"Wow!"  

"Yep, and my little Angelina and I if we're still together are going to get married once we're 20."

 "Early marriage.  I would want to do that, but my parents would never allow it.  So I'm gonna move out as soon as I am done at Hogwart's!"  

"Who are you planning to marry then, huh?"  

"You of course baby, that is f we're still together and besides I'm not getting married until I'm at least 19!"  

"Well It's only two and a half years to stay with thee Jonny Light!"

We talked some more and then went back to Hogwarts at about 8:50.  

George and Angelina went off and did there own thing but me and Jonny walked around the lake a couple times and talked and laughed and kissed a few times.  It was like any tipical couple.  We walked down to the entrance of the Forbidden Forest.  

"Not this time babe, but maybe next time."  Jonny whispered into my ear.  

We walked back up to the castle and walked to the fat lady picture; the entrance to Gryffindor; and said, "Rotten pumpkin juice"  to the fat lady and she let us in.  

We looked at the clock it was 10:15!  We were supposed to be here 45 minutes ago.  Oh well.  

He kissed me on the cheek and whispered, "Goodnight baby sweetheart see you in the morning."  I silently walked to my dormitory and found the light on and all the girls waiting for me to tell them how it was.  

McKenna's POV

I was the best night of my life!  How he went all out for our first date and rented a carriage pulled by a unicorn!  That must have been a LOT of galleons!  And when he gave me the necklace; it was beautiful!  I loved it!  And then we kissed!  Our first kiss!!!!!!!!  It was amazing, fantastic BLOODY TERRIFIC!  After when we were alone was extravagant!   All we did was laugh and talk and ya know kiss.  

After telling the girls what happened I put on my favorite pajamas; pink silk pants with little hearts and a long sleeved silk top that matches.  I slept the best I had since...ever but it ended a short 10 hours later.
