I would just like to say thank you if you have read through this, I know I have my other story “Unexpected illness” (If you haven’t read it and would like to go onto wattpad and typed in that title) but this is more focused on recovery and the struggles through it. It’s all about my journey to freedom.
I would like to thank my mum, my dad and siblings. You’re the reason I am alive. Each and every one of you saved me in your own little ways. I am sorry I put you through so much pain and terror. I hope when I am fully recovered I can make it up to you guys. But until then - just know I am grateful for everything you have done. I love you all so much.
I would also like to thank Mervyn and all the staff at Cotswold Spa. If it wasn’t for your guy’s help I wouldn’t have even know help existed. I wouldn’t have even known I was suffering a dangerous mental illness. You are all amazing at your jobs. Thank you all for being there when you could have just given up on me. Thanks for sticking around through all tough and good times.
Thank you to my best friend, for showing me recovery is possible. Thank you for showing up in my life and making it instantly better. You inspire me! Your strength and beauty shines through amazingly. I am sorry that you’re stuck with me but hey better than nothing right? I love you.
Thank you to all who visited in hospital last year, (Annie, Molly, Jess...) you guys made me feel less lonely. You made me feel like people actually cared. I appreciate it. Thank you.
Thank you to the Recovery world on Instagram not only did you bring me my best friend and friends for life but you gave me strength, willpower and happiness.
Thank you Chloe, Emma and billy from NCS for never giving up on me, for continuing to push me to face my fears. Because of you I had the best month of my life.
