WE CONTINUED TO SPEED DOWN THE HIGHWAY, Cameron pouting grumpily from next to me. "Sorry." I whispered to him, feeling a little bad for some-what encouraging Ferris to take the car. "It's fine." Cameron started, turning back to me. "He's unstoppable." He finished, sending daggers into the back of Ferris' head with his eyes.

I laughed slightly at the pair of them. Although they fought a lot, you could tell they were great friends. "What's so funny?" Sloane asked, turning towards me in confusion. "Nothing." I replied, turning my head to the side to watch the buildings fly past in a blur as it all smudged in with the horizon.

I looked up at the tall skyscrapers, they looked like they were entirely made of glass windows. I couldn't help but wonder how people could get up so high to build it. Let alone have the courage to climb up there in the first place.

After staring off for song long, I didn't notice that we had pulled into a car garage. "Y/N!" Ferris yelled, lightly shoving my arm. "Huh?" I replied, confusion manifesting on my face. "You can get out of the car now." He said in a very babying voice, as if I wouldn't understand him if he spoke normally.

"Oh, right." I said, climbing out and landing awkwardly on the ground. I hadn't noticed that my legs were completely numb until I fell forward straight into Ferris' chest. "Hey there." He said, smirking down at me. I pushed myself of him gently, trying to regain my balance. "Sorry." I apologised quickly, averting my eyes from meeting his.

I could feel the blush slowly spreading and taking over my face like a cup of water that was spilt on a table. It slowly spread, covering the entire surface. "We're not leaving the car here." Cameron stated strongly from behind us. "It'll be fine. I'll give the guy a fiver to watch it." Ferris assured him as he turned to walk out of the garage.

"What guy?" Cameron asked him confused. As if on que, a foreign looking man stamped his time card and walked towards us as he eyed the car. "What can I do for you?" The man asked slowly, pulling his eyes away from the car to make eye contact with Ferris and Cameron.

Ferris reached his hand out, handing the other male a five dollar note and asked him to take special care of the Ferrari. Cameron glared as he watched the man drive off into the garage with his father's Ferrari, as he contemplated on whether he would run after it or not.

"What was that?" Sloane questioned me in a whisper, referring back to what happened when I fell into Ferris. I shrugged, honestly not knowing what to think of it myself. It's third grade all over again! I thought to myself, cringing as I recalled the memory. Never again did I want to go through that. Even though Ferris and I were kids back then, it still meant a lot more to me than it probably did to him.

"Y/N. Y/N. Y/N!" Sloane was shaking me vigorously, staring at my emotionless face, trying to bring out of the dream world I was venturing into. "Yeah?" I questioned, staring off into the nothingness ahead of the four of us. "Are you alright? What were you thinking about?" She continued, looking at me like I was about to drop dead.
