Laurie Williams sat on the lounge under the parasol,on her balcony enjoying the late afternoon air, nibbling on her sandwich, while reminiscing about her past.
She could clearly recall the memory she had with her family. Her mother never had her time after she hit puberty at the age of eleven, while her father was more concerned about her studies, her needs, though he was always there when she needed him physically and financially, he was rarely around.
Jack was everything she wanted in a man, they loved each other clearly, they childhood together always made her laugh, he was so protective of her, he was one in a million to her, he was the most caring guy she had ever met.
Keith cared so much about his self than anyone else, one will think they were twins, even when she was older than him with a year, Jack is six years older than him.
At the age of sixteen, she went to Scotland to live with her Aunt Emma, she completed her high school at Royalsville high school, she wrote her college exam to Oxford University, while waiting for her acceptance letter , she left for home, it was hard leaving the friends she had known over two years. Sophie Carters her best friend told her she looked different from when she came to Scotland, she said she had grown taller and curvier, her natural blonde which was shoulder length before was pretty long now, a little above the waist.
She had thought Sophie was teasing her until she got home to check the full mirror before she noticed it was true.
She had dated more than five boys , not because of love but because she wanted to give them a chance, she was never truly in love with them, it was all pretence.
