Chapter 12: The Interview

* Over the next couple of weeks you go on your mandated dates with Murdoc. You two are anything the media and the tabloids would be talking about. The cat was out of the bag you couldn't hide this for Russel and he does not handle this well.*

Russell: *slams Murdoc against the wall* what the hell is going on between you two?

Murdoc: isn't it obvious your sister could not resist me.

Me: Murdoc, shut up. Russ its not what you think it is.

Russell: What am I suppose to think you two are the hottest couple in Hollywood. Everyone is going to think the worst of you. Look at what you're dating.

Murdoc: If Im may interject I'm a sex and music god.

Russell: SHUT UP *punches him*

Me: Russ, its fake its all fake.

Murdoc: *nose is bleeding*  y/n shut up

Russell: Don't talk to her like that.How am I suppose to believe that?

Me: * gets the contract that was signed by the record label, murdoc and yourself*

Russell: *reads the contract dropping murdoc on his ass* this is real?

Me: yes Russ its real.

Russell: why would you do this?

Me: I can't tell you but the record label will give you guys the money to go on tour.

Russell: So murdoc is using you to make money for the band? * is about to punch Murdoc again but you stop him but you grab his arm*

Me:*sighs* no I saw an opportunity to help and I took it.

Russell: you didn't have to do this. I want this to stop.

Me: but if we do then you forfeit the money for your next tour

Russell: I don't care.

Me: no. I can't do that then if will be my fault and I couldn't live with the idea that I ruined your next tour. All those fans anticipating your arrival. Besides it is a legal binding contract Russ.

Russell: * throws down the paper and goes to this room slamming the door having nothing more to say about the matter.*

Me:* goes to 2D's room knocking on his door. he kindly gets you in. There was no real place to sit so you just saw on a giant pile of randomness.*

2D: aven't seen you in a while

Me: 2d can I just be honest with you

2D: *looks at you* ummm ya

Me: I'm sorry if it seems like I'm neglecting you and our friendship. I- I just can't pass up this opportunity.

2D: yea, every girl wants to be with Murdoc.

Me: No 2D thats not at all what I meant. I am not with Murdoc because I have feelings for him. 

2D: then why are you with him?

Me: well first you have to promise me that you won't tell anyone what I am about to say.

2D: o-ok.

Me: you know when murdoc was seen with that mysterious woman that turned out to me?

2D: ummm ya

Me: well the label thought that the band was breaking up for the sales of your latest album went through the roof because people were scared of losing the Gorillaz

2D: what?

Me: when the record label knew they could manipulate your fans they took control of the situations and I helped them. They promised that I continued to make appearances with him to help promote the band. This also offer to represent me and help me produce my first album.

2D: *is surprised*

Me: I know I'm an awful person, but I couldn't let this golden opportunity pass me by.

2D: you are not a awful person.

Me: How can you say that? I'm lying my ass off to your fans all so that I can have a music career. You guys worked hard to get where you are. I am just riding off of your band's success. 

2D: You have talented and you have proven that. Sometimes you have to do the craziest things to achieve your dreams.

Me: you always find the good in people. I mean you put up with Murdoc for all this time.

2D: y/n I have something I have been wanted to tell you for a while now.

Me: what is it *murdoc comes in interrupting your conversation.*

Murdoc: we have to go.

Me: Can it wait a moment me and 2D were talking and he was going to say something important.

Murdoc: yes it has to be now. * grabs your wrist and drags you from the room*

Me: I'm sorry 2D

2D: I can wait I'll tell you later

Me: Umm ok.

*Murdoc takes you to his room*

Me: please don't tell me that you trying to score with me.

Murdoc: We have an interview today.

Me: TODAY! What the hell. Why didn't you tell me earlier?

Murdoc: I was but I was kinda getting my ass beaten by your brother. 

Me : we have to go now *you and murdoc leave to go the interview*

*Down at the tv studio*

Intern: so this interview will be live only 30 mins and just act natural*

Murdoc: Can someone get me a whiskey? *someone hands his a glass*

Me: *looks at him* you really are having a drink right now?

Murdoc: he said be natural. This is me being natural.

Me: oh my god let's just get this over with.

Murdoc:*finishes his whiskey*

* the intern counts down from when they are about to start the interview*

Me: just let me do a lot of the talking

Interviewer: Today I have the creator of the popular band Gorillaz, Murdoc Niccals and his girlfriend. Now a lot of people are wondering how you two got together? I mean Murdoc is an infamous womanizer. How did you get him to commit?

Me: *she shyly smiled trying to think of something* well thats a long story.

Murdoc: yes that I love telling. Well there she was. She was in the front row at one of my concert . I took one look at her and I instantly fell for her. I got to see her back stage and thats where things started to take off.

Interviewer: and y/n how does it feel to be dating a celebrity?

Me: honestly it feels...

Murdoc: she's very happy and honored that our relationship is going so well.

Me: yes I am honest but I think that they wanted me to say that. He's great but sometimes he gets over enthusiastic when people ask questions about us. 

* the interview continued to go well until the very end*

Interviewer: well before we conclude we have one last question from a fan. The fan appears on a screen saying that she had hooked up with Murdoc at his last concert which she pointed out was during the time that you and Murdoc were supposedly together.*

Murdoc: *starts to deny everything saying it was a lie. even overreacting. He gets up throwing his pinned microphone at the camera. Another cameraman follows him and he slaps the camera onto the ground the interview ending there.*
