Chapter 9: Did I just make a deal with the Devil?

*You sitting in the recording booth with your headphones while 2D was at the controls messing with various knobs on the soundboard. Today was the first day you would be recording the song you wrote. In the middle of the session Murdoc burst open the door causing you to mess up your vocals. You take off your headphones and go outside of the booth to find out what was he up to.*

You: What is going on? We were in the middle of recording.

Murdoc: Well I came to find you.

You:Yea so? Can' t it wait me and D were recording, we were almost done until you showed up.

Murdoc: Well maybe but I don't want to wait.

You: *sighs and facepalms* Alright then. Well take 10, D.

2D: Alright then.

*Murdoc grabs your wrist and drags out of the room, outside to the back of Kong Studios. 2D looks at you two weirdly as you get dragged out of the room by Murdoc. 2D was suspicious of Murdoc's intentions he follows you two without either of you noticing. *

You: nice change of venue. What's do you have up your sleeve?

Murdoc: Nothing, I can't talk to my dear friend.

You: I wouldn't call us friends. I would barely call you an acquaintance. But really what do you want? I'm working on my music.

Murdoc: I have a proposal for you.

You: I'm not marrying you.

Murdoc: Wha? No, not that kind of proposal.

You: Well whatever it is the answer is still no.

Murdoc: You owe me remember.

You: You did a small favor for me and even then you technically did not hold up your end of the deal therefore its null and void.

Murdoc: But we both can get something out of this.

You: Why do I feel like I'm selling my soul to the devil?

Murdoc: Hold on you haven't heard my idea yet.

You: *sarcastically says* I'm so excited.

Murdoc: I need you to be my girlfriend.

*2D gasps and Murdoc hears it and 2D runs away to his room. Murdoc looks around hoping no one is around*

You: Are you drunk?

Murdoc: I am but that is besides the point. So will you do it?

You: NO

Murdoc: But you are already famous. Once people see you with me they will want to know more about you. Play your cards right, and I could talk to Stateside to sign you. *you fall silent and Murdoc smiles devilishly* C'mon you don't have to struggle anymore if we just work together.

You: Wait, what are you getting out of this?

Murdoc: I get more money for the band and get to tour. Ever since this morning our latest album has sold out across the country. If we can keep the fans in mass hysteria then we can sell more albums and concerts.

You: Fine for a month. But after that this arrangement is over. And don't tell Russel he would have your head* you leave and go back to the recording studio.*

Murdoc: I wouldn't worry, luv *says as you walk away, he rubs hands devilishly*
